They did with trailer 3 and previews so sure?

 

Though I'm not sure why some are expecting more than Edge, if anything.

We kind of just cross-referenced the marketing schedule R had for V and compared it to what they are doing now with RDR2. It's eerily similar and therefore we are able to make educated guesses.

When it comes to updates, nothing is ever confirmed.

The only thing that's consistent is the randomness. No one has called anything correctly for 2 years.
