But... if they plan on releasing a gameplay video on RDO, as well as the Part II we expect, won’t they want to do that before the game releases, rather than after? They haven’t got a lot of time left.

Remember that last week we got the collectibles, this week probably a gameplay trailer, then some artwork and previews, another trailer (online?), reviews and finally a launch trailer...

I say this Friday an announcement for gameplay #2 on Monday. End of this month artwork previews. Begin October online trailer.

I'm a Console Gamer so I'm not trying to get the PC Gamers hopes up, so take this information with a grain of Salt.

The article I took the screenshot from came from this Linked Article

The Analyst is from bank of America I think. 

 

In the article the Analyst was talking to investors, which would mean they would be in the know of all versions. Thus the explination of the economical value of investing in shares in Take-Two with R* upcoming RDR2.

 

In other words. It would seem more solid towards info of a PC Version coming.

 

Again. Not trying to get your hopes up. Just thought I would let you know.

GTA Vs Online trailer came out 29 days before the game released.

So expect a Part 2 anywhere between 10th-15th and then an Online preview around 25th-30th.

Launch Trailer around the 10th of October.

I too want a video this week my dawg..but knowing R*, they are extremely unpredictable!

I expect something like "Here's Gameplay Part 2 and expect hands-on previews from Edge, OPM, etc. coming next week and throughout September" on the Rockstar Newsire.

It'll be nice to see RDR2 and GTA V charting alongside in the weekly UK sales charts come October 26 ... only five years apart but somehow V is still there within the top 5! Geez, just let that sink for a moment.

I don't think investors are privy to the inner dealings and plans within T2 and the analyst is basically just doing his job of analysing past activity to predict future plans and investments, to encourage more stockholders to invest. 

 

It sadly neither confirms nor denies any PC version.

 

That said and speaking of sales, I read a nice bit of info from a sales insider at ERA who expressed that anyone trying to use RDR1 as an example of sales for RDR2 would be grossly out of sync. He wouldn't divulge specific numbers but estimates based on interest and preorders would see it past the 20+ million range and it's only competition being COD.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we don't know anything about previews happening next week. The only thing we know is that Edge magazine will be released and they're possibly teasing RDR2. I wouldn't use that as evidence of hands on previews coming when we don't know what exactly we're getting from Edge.

You need to remember the magazine will be available Thursday, September 13th. For the last previews they had a trailer the day before (Wednesday, May 2nd - a day before the previews on Thursday).

Maybe they'll do that again with the 2nd Gameplay Video coming September 12th?

icing on the cake would be if rockstar said today "with the release of this new car, we're now focusing our efforts on ensuring red dead redemption 2 will be ready for launch on October 26th, please join us on Thursday 6th as we go further in depth with missions and activities in the world of RDR2."

long time lurker here.

I finally found the strength to register here and looking forward to share my thoughts and discuss with you.

 

This game is driving me already insane, i had to renovate my living room to be worthy of RDR2 xD

 

Cant believe we made it this far, this whole thing is pretty much done.

 

Thanks to everybody in here for making the (gruesomely long) wait so much more bearable.

 

Oh and also... lol ok.
