Pretty sure the next gameplay video will be this week or next. There needs to be an adequate amount of time between trailer releases and with the online and launch trailers yet to come after this one, Rockstar are, well, running out of time. I feel like this timeline makes sense:

 

Sept 6: Gameplay Video #2

Sept 27: Online Video

October 11: Launch trailer

 

GTAO doesn't matter any more. It takes up Tuesdays on the newswire, that is all.

If I bet, I'd say this week for Gameplay Part II, and next week for hands-on previews and more interviews with Rockstar's heads. They need to start covering Online as well, which probably will consume 3 weeks of marketing, and time is ticking.

Btw any of you guys playing the BFV Beta? I pre-ordered (and will cancel afterwards) to test the game for a week and form my own opinion. Because more often than not I enjoy a game even when others dislike it. For example I heard of bad Quantum Break reviews but I've played it for 6hrs last night and it's amazing!

I also think we're getting the next gameplay trailer this thursday. Looking forward to some mission gameplay and more shootouts. I also believe that IF first person view is in the game, they will reveal it in this trailer. It's a big selling point.

 I'd be okay with that because it'd give me more time to enjoy SP without having to bother with a "friends on RDRO ranking up like crazy but I still wanna enjoy SP - wut do?" scenario. Plus some of the momo's who have no business playing RDR2 (or any online game for that matter) other than to ruin peoples fun might forget about RDRO if they can't immediately jump into it within the first month or two after launch.

I hope so! Still think it will start in the first half of November though.

 

On an RDR2 note:

The trade week in Germany between August 23rd and 29th noted that Red Dead Redemption 2 was the third most pre-ordered game for PS4 in Germany, ahead of BFV and CoD. FIFA 19 was number one and Spiderman was number two.

Absolute could see that happening. It would demonstrate their focus on RDR2 as a single player game and also give them more time to polish online, since the GTA online launch back then was a massive debacle.
