I don't care because I know the game looks phenomenal in every aspect from what we've seen so far but it's just disrespectful.

I see what you're saying especially on the last part, agreed. It is disrespectful regardless. The amount of work they put into it is unmatched. Anyways though honestly it doesn't have anything to do with the game itself though... Everybody was tired clearly but besides R* purposely didn't show much to prevent leaks and spoilers. They played in a way people like us would appreciate. The guy didn't even Sprint he just took it slow. And for that stuff though individually it all was praised. The guys who weren't exhausted and actually saw the demo said the graphics, physics, gunfights, and options are all AMAZING and GOTY material. I'd give a sh*t less even if no one said that. But it is nice to hear the ones into the western, say that. Oh and /s @vKing is right. Anyone watching us go back and forth just know, this ALWAYS happens and it's how you know news is on the way... Then it's fun being here at that time most of all

Pretty much. Doubt a multi billion dollar company is gonna scrap their marketing plans cause a few Gamestop employees said a demo bored them on reddit.

Opinions, doods, opinions. Plus they had a long week, travelling, sat down for ages and were shown a slow demo focused on the environment. Yea if it was us we'd have been sitting twiddling our thumbs all week waiting for a look at RDR2 but we're the exception.

I'm still over here trying to figure out why R handpicked this obscure Gamestop event to showcase that demo. There are/were probably a lot of other journalists/events out there that deserved to see the demo more then the guys from Gamestop tbh.

They've done it in the past for a bunch of their previous games, so just a Rockstar/Take-Two thing I guess? Every company has it's own way to gather feedback, GameStop conference demos is one of Rockstar's.

Well, they did this for most their games in the past and the big gaming outlets have gone hands-on with RDR2 a few weeks ago, so no worries! Hands-on previews will follow September 10th or so.

i still doubt the credibility of a lot of the people over at reddit who claim to have seen the conference. i think they are just regurgitating information actual users who went there gave and adding their sleeping story to it.

Base the final product (RDR2) on your own merits and stop listening to the internet people....

Cheers partner! And to end the spectacle of this Reddit talk I'm gonna conclude with something similar to what someone else said, honestly guys even IF to them the game truly is "boring" who gives a sh*t. Remember westerns are not for everybody, it's not a "dude bro" action every second game (thank God) ironically everything they said is boring is what got me just screaming excited inside. I LOVE the atmosphere of RDR. I have so many damn screenshots on my Xbox I can't even upload stuff! I gotta delete cause I have so many... Just really I don't wanna see some of you that I know have been so hyped for years on end. To lose your hype and happiness on RDR2 from some random people that may have even made up what they said (I don't think they did though, I'm js) have confidence in your own opinion, RDR2 being amazing already is proven by the gameplay video. Even people commented on that "it's boring" when it was mostly action. Some people just don't like westerns and that's their loss.

Haha. Walking around and admiring the art of the world (i.e. graphics and sound design) is the highlight of my Redemption experience.

Go to imgur upload, after it uploads go to the little drop down menu beside where it says "copy" then highlight and copy the "download image" link URL it provides and just paste that.

Direct links work. Sometimes it may give you a "gifv" link instead, that doesn't work, just change the last part of the link to "gif".

It's the only way it's worked for me cuz I'm usually only on tablet or phone, when I get a chance on the comp I'll take a look. Or another clever poster whose a little more stationary will have the goods. 

 

Edit: Maybe I misunderstood u can totally do it from a phone, just click on the gif after u upload for that drop down menu to appear. Look forward to ur gifs!

1. Do you all enjoy the herding missions in RDR? I find them really relaxing. I hope they're a feature somehow even if it's only in online.

2. Do you play games with or without subtitles? I always play with subtitles even if I can understand what everyone is saying.

1. Yes, and I hope they bring it back.  Only problem is nobody ever wants to stay back and help herd the cattle.  Lazy bums.
