"November 21" file was found on russian version of the official website back in 2017. They deleted it from website quickly.

Well, November 21, 2017 was a Tuesday ... so it could very well have been the original release date for RDR2.

Hm, can we safely assume that R* really aimed for a release in Fall 2017 as originally said???

Probably. The file was hidden but you could see it with Element Inspector.

If this will happen, Rockstar is f*cked! (meaning if a game like spider man can take on red dead, score and quality wise, not sales wise)

I truly believe once the game comes out all of them skeptics will be dead silenced, red dead.

No further than the 26th, which obviously is RDR2's release date. Pretty sure if for whatever reason R* pushed back the release date, plenty of websites would have covered it and made it clear on a new release date by now. But that's not the case here   No need to freak out

Chill out guys. It was found in 2017 and quickly deleted from Rockstar servers. The original unannounced release date. Then pushed to spring 18. Then Oct 26

I have absolutely no concern that Spider-Man will be the biggest competitor to get Game of the year.

Guys, something worries me. Remember the gameplay. The choices at the right bottom. They are not always visible. They are not visible when Arthur walks at the town or walks at the camp, rides the convoy etc. I’m worried if they are just for random events. That would be f*cking boring.

Don’t worry, it’s for every NPC. You have to hold down L2 on the NPC to get those options to appear.

It'd be funny to see a Spiderman game become GOTY on the very same year Spidey turned into ashes. 

 

Anywho, I think the new Spiderman game, as great as it looks, is a bit too generic for a chance at winning GOTY when we have God of War and RDR2 on the same year. Nothing about it really seemed to be trying to strike something new and revolutionary like how GoW did with storytelling and apparently how RDR2 is going to do with gameplay.

Yea it's probably not gonna get GoTY, it looks to be relying on a few open world tropes that might get a little bit of criticism. God of War has been the medias darling game this year, so it's probably between that and RDR2, assuming RDR2 doesn't crash and burn of course.

I really am getting tired of Benz being  hailed like it was the second coming of christ. Yes, he played his role in making r* games, but he wasn't the only one. You're unintentionally discrediting all the other devs at r* games who worked just as hard, if not harder to get the games out with r* standards. So please, Benzies is not the only man who is capable of maintaining rockstar standards. If you believe RDR2 will 'crash and burn' be it with or without  Benzies, you are entitled to your opinion and I will respect it as such, an opinion.
