Hey there guys! Been crazy busy with work but all this news is so awesome! The map thread is becoming a tense showdown however haha, who saw ambarino coming!? Anyways I know some guys like @MichaelDeSantaLS and @zachsterosu we're asking about Arthur's hat and I promised I would make a post about it when I had time, that was a while back sorry for the delay. So I made a thread cuz it has a lot of pics for those still interested.

Thanks for posting. Regardless what anyone says I'm a person that always makes my own opinion. Like hey guys I've played games rated 4\10 that I loved, as an example lol but really they did make it clear any negative impressions people were really tired and not expecting the demo uncomfortable chairs too and it sounds like the guy played like some of us would walking purposely can be fun and immersive when you're the one doing it, but it's not exactly 'fun' to watch someone doing it I get that. The action side though I saw they said physics are great, shootout, multiple choices, graphics are beautiful of course. The world is very detailed and rich in atmosphere... Biggest highlight for me even tho I already know this game will be fantastic, hearing them say 'if you loved RDR1 you will love this'll that's all I want. A second redemption should just improve upon what made the first great and innovate with new things, not change the Identity of it's gameplay or whatever to something not red dead, R* knows what they're doing and it's great!! Another guy also said 'i never played RDR1 but after seeing this demo I'm stoked' some pretty good stuff to take from that. Ignore the tired people that may not even be into westerns anyways. Lol the slow pace is beautiful at times I think . Also they don't wanna have leaks and spoil even the managers who remember are people too, leaks happen.. glad they are keeping a tight lid on the meat of the game!!

Yeah it was basically a live demo of the same gameplay the press saw in March.

Huh, interesting...Seems like they'll lightly rework the Heist system from V instead of rehashing old sh*t and copy pasting it in to RDR2.

Oh, there's some new info in here, for me at least. "Plucky guitar playing". Who was playing the guitar though?

It's funny, because as I'm reading through all the comments on that page, all I can think is "I can't WAIT to slowly meander through the game, and take my time and enjoy the scenery!" The very thing those guys hated is what I'm looking forward to. Taking my time. Taking it all in. And now I'm even more stoked to know that there are multiple options to customize the bank robbery, a la GTA V. So exciting!

Watching someone slowly walking may not be the most exciting thing in the world, but just experience the graphics and nature would get me in extacy right now lol. Also, do people have the patience of a 3 year old these days or what?

Pretty much. Id be thankful if I was there watching the beautiful "horse simulator" without action for now

3 days and hours of conferencing and that was the last surprise demo. Naturally some were gonna be fed up and tired but like the others were saying who attended, the negative reddit comments were in the minority.

True... Honestly too though, I like Reddit at times but most of the time idk what it is like if the place is known for this and people purposely keep it up, or it just attracts assholes?? Idk but Reddit has so many sarcastic and negative comments, downvoting people who speak the truth and slandering people for different opinions.. yeah it can happen everywhere it's the internet after all but I'm just saying I don't take Reddit comments especially negative ones so seriously . Lol after the spider man 'puddle "downgrade" debacle' (bs it wasn't downgraded) people just complain about every damn thing nowadays and that whole thing was proof for sure. Lmao

Yeah I mean some of them mention parts of the demo. 

 

I spoke to someone about it and it was basically a live demo of what press saw in March that we got previews for in May. It's Arthur at camp walking around and talking to other folks like Pearson, riding out for a bit, encountering NPCs, wildlife and and then coming back to camp and talking to Bill Williamson who offers Arthur the Valentine bank job. The demo ended after they escape from the law after doing the robbery.

Hahahaha, do you honestly think that Sony can just call R* and tell them to not release any RDR2 information because it's Spider-Man release week? They may have the exclusivity deal with the 'select online-content first' but that's a different story and would not stop R* from releasing the 2nd gameplay video next week if they planned to do so.
