May previews covered this as it was in the press demo and recently shown to the Gamestop expo.

 

Basically everything you're expecting. lol Multiple ways to approach it, different outcomes, dynamic soundtrack etc. Also if its a botched robbery it's not game over, but maybe lay low for awhile and your crew who you take might not be too happy with you. lol

Some of these will certainly be gifts I give my family to get me for Christmas (but I'll order them myself so I don't miss out on anything). Plus I'm still debating the Zippo lighter ($44.99), match box slipcase, barrel candle ($99.99), the 6x9 Rockstar glass decoupage tray ($89.99), and some of the other t-shirts. I'd get the dynamite candle but I have the original RDR one that's way cooler. None of that is even including the PS4 Pro I bought mainly for this game (Paid $316.45 after using a cashback bonus), plus I snagged a DualShock 4 500 Million Limited Edition ($65) for a backup controller so I always have one fully charged. Anyway, I'd like to say both thank you and you're welcome to Rockstar lol.

I am hyped for RDR2 and for CP2077 (more for RDR obviously atm. since it's much closer to be released) and I usually don't like sci-fi/futuristic stuff, but that game does look amazing even tho it's still very much a work in progress and for me too R* and CDPR are the best. I love their games and my top 3 is:

1. Witcher 3 (some might call me a Witcher-fanboy since I have all the books, have played all the games through many times and even have a tattoo of the wolf medallion)

2. Red Dead Redemption

3. GTA San Andreas

 

And also I do love the God of War series. Haven't played the newest yet 'cause of not having time for it, but it's on my list of games that I'm gonna get at some point.

Wooow that's super cool you have the white wolf tattoo. That sounds amazing, I really wish I had the necklace!  Nothing wrong with being a "fanboy" as long as they're not being assholes lol. Andat's great that you enjoy both and love both R*, and CDPR thats the way to be! I mean everyone you love for whatever reason is inspired by somebody or something anyways.. but yes I agree too. Not huge on futuristic but cyberpunk is different in a good way. I love the lore and everything. There's even people who wear cowboy hats in that game... Will be cool . But yup. RDR2 NEXT MONTH!!

CDPR is in my opinion still the best developer in the game industry, followed very closely by Rockstargames.

From both developers I have played nearly all the games, and love their way of releasing: 'Only when ready'.

So I think it's very likely we'll see Amabarino here ... we'd need confirmation whether we can actually use canoes, boats, etc. ... I mean if we can use them freely, what would prevent us from going to the landmasses next to Saint Denis??? On the other hand, if we can't use them, how would we make it to the islands not connected to the mainland???

Unlikely personally and I also hope not the case, I don't need or want Mexico to be another main region again honestly.  

 

Also the description of train is telling: it carries passengers through the 5 states and to get to where you're proposing, would mean traveling through Mexico? We can use the leaked map to see where the train runs through and also know of how West Elizabeth had connecting tracks from there to New Austin.

 

I think I like the idea better that Ambarino could be the state northern of the map to include the Grizzlies but who knows.

The Witcher mention had me thinking about the Netflix show and then I suddenly remembered that a couple years ago Strauss Zelnick of T2 mentioned prior to E3 that they had licensed out some of their UP a for TV and film, but we've never heard anything since?

1st a quick shout to all of you that spend so much time analysing everything to the finest detail. I, and I'm sure many others will get so much more value from this game with all the backstory info and all the map discoveries.

I certainly hope so. The journalists that had seen the rdr2 demo mentioned that they saw Arthur rip off the hide of a hare in one go. I'm thinking it makes sense to make the skinning animations a little bit more faster this time around

I'd say next week is like a 99% chance of the 2nd gameplay video being released (almost exactly 1 month after the first one), followed by worlds' first hands-on previews the week after.

I'm beyond excited for the next couple of weeks. We are almost there, until then: STAY STRONG, STAY WITH ME!

R* confirmed that there'll be different skinning animations for different animals and that the angle won't change, so the camera will stay behind Arthur when he skins animals!

I get what you mean but my willpower says otherwise lol. Luckily Rockstar is probably the best developer when it comes to not giving away the whole game before release. Every game they’ve done I’ve always felt like going in somewhat blind, even though I’ve seen all the trailers. Rockstar knows the importance of this.

I hope they release the soundtrack to RDR2 on vinyl. I’ve been listening to the original score of the first game a lot recently and it’s amazing. Takes me right back. The music they’ve used in all of the trailers so far has been phenomenal.

Last I heard was that the series is coming around ~2020. Not much info about it, but it's one of the series I'm looking forward to.
