In 1899, Herbert Moon is the most feared and most prodigious bounty hunter in the west.  Arthur's arch enemy.

That was before he had a near fatal gunshot wound, recovered over a long, terrible year, where he had a lot of time for introspection.  He retired to a quiet life as a shopkeeper, in 1905, vowing never again to follow his violent impulses.

Isn't there a Bitch & Moon Thread for that somewhere, or did I read that wrong 😮

On ranches I wonder if we’ll see NPCs milking cows, collecting eggs from the chicken coup, etc... that typical ranch life. This world is going to be so freaking awesome. I’m gonna throw eggs at people.

Ok, ok... that was a joke. I’ll be sure to throw knives at people though.

Nobody’s saying that’s only a month away. They’re saying it’s out next month, which technically is correct ;)

Hell yeah!! Throwing knives will be amazing with the new melee system! And this made me inspired to write what I was already thinking about in my head lol. Didn't someone say in RDR2 that no longer will NPC's see a dead body and just act like nothing happened if they don't directly see it then tell on you? And also you can loot bodies this time not just a pre set animation but literally pick what you wanna take off them?? I mean it's little things like this that will be game changer and small but in a big way. Just imagine this scenario; you walk outside the saloon at night, there's no one around except for two guys. You kill them, take their stuff and then just wait out. You sit on the bench just waiting for people to come by, then another group rides into town they're about to go in the saloon but instead, (since the AI is advanced now I see this as possible) the pair will see you a little bit away from the bodies, so then they will see as you're the only one there, they either draw their gun on you, question you, OR run away and don't look back.. 'this is over' lol I think this is what rockstar is going for with the new AI system and dialogue options. f*cking awesome. Unpredictable miniature stories that happen all the time, taking random interactions to the next level

As Vig (and also Deadwood ninja'ing me by seconds) mentioned earlier I can now say it too.

Red f*cking Dead Redemption 2 is out next month. It's so close now it's actually getting surreal. Five years we've waited for a current gen Rockstar game and it's finally almost here.

Damn my calendar hasn't looked better haha...I can't wait until we can fully experience RDR2 in all it's glory!

This place is going to be madness on October 25th throughout that whole day. :D:panic:

That day a happy tear could be shed. We can actually say we made it boys, we made it.

Ah, you're thinking of the long-anticipated ranch hand minigame missions.  😛

I feel it's likely we'll get some similar to that in the form of helping out around our camp, what with things like hunting and tending to horses already being confirmed.

I always wanted to just chill in a game. Like sitting and watching the natural view or standing up to a wall and watch the town life. I only remember ‘Destiny’ about that. We could sit and chill whenever we want. I hope we will do these actions in RDR2...

I'll definitively sit down at the campfire and listen to Hosea tell some awesome stories :D Listening to Javier play some nice tunes on his guitar will also be enjoyable i imagine.

But the #1 activity i'm looking forward to is the fishing.

OFF TOPIC:

I finished God of War and it felt like watching a Hollywood blockbuster... It's a Frankenstein video game, a lot of different things implemented but a lot of them were not necessary at all. Some are annoying and doesn't respect my time.

Pff after God of War 3 I expected more, and I don't understand the high praise.

im going to take my time with this game, live as Arthur, go about my day to day activities of hunting, selling, robbing, helping the camp and more.

I'll spend each evening with the camp, listening to stories and music then resting and going again in the morning, perhaps to find a local who will be willing to "donate" some supply?

Curious, what did you think wasn't necessary? Heard a few things people never liked about it but never heard people think parts are unnecessary.

Agree to all of the above. I want to take at least a month to play through this (though avoiding spoilers on social media is gonna be a b*tch :panic:).

I think the RPG elements ultimately ended up being unnecessary, personally.

Also, that whole "All in one camera shot" thing ultimately ends up creating more problems than it solves.

I can sorta agree with the RPG elements, if you mean the gear aspect anyway. Tying your character level to gear was an odd choice, sorta hurried you into getting better gear only to improve your level rather than choosing what fit your playstyle.

Personally I dug the all in one camera. I know why people can think it's iffy especially with the way fast travel worked but it beats a black loading screen for me.

Stats + No loading times cheap tricks + Semi-linear world, where you have to walk a lot. Atreus was a bit annoying during the end-game, since he gets bored when you are looking for collectibles.

I'm won't buy the next god of war, I'm tired of those Sony Interactive movies.
