People here need to play more games other than R* games, or at least trying to respect them.

RDR 2 will me amazing, but Spider-Man will also be amazing (no pun intended), and many more games out there. Living inside a bubble is not good for anyone

I play Rainbow six siege Terrorist Hunt, Mortal Kombat XL, Not to meny games. Come 2019 Resident evil 2 😍 RDR2 & RE2.😍

The one detail RDR2 will probably still ignore is NPC housing. Lets be real, there are WAY too many people in the region of RDR1 and not near enough housing in the cities and countryside to house all of them. So much open countryside is not realistic to the amount of NPCs walking and riding around. They could fix this for RDR2, but to do so would look odd when you play the true sequel Marston's story and all those added homesteads are gone. Id rather they add more housing and fill the countryside properly, and it would help for Online where hopefully we get the RDR1 map, where we'd have a lot more housing options, and random places to rob or visit and maybe create missions for Online.

I was thinking about this the other day actually, after watching a western (Bone Tomahawk). It's a good point. I'd honestly prefer fewer NPCs if it meant each one had a home I could follow them to, and a personality I could get familiar with.

Sounds more like the Sims or something like that than RDR if that would be the case. Also would you really plan on stalking every single NPC?

No, it's more about pushing the "living world" objective. Older games have accomplished this, so I'd love to see it in a modern AAA game.

So you mean RPGs then? Like Skyrim?

Respect for everyone waiting for Spider-Man but I hate super heroes. Whether it's batman or Spidey or anyone else I don't care. I just hated super heroes since I was a kid. It's weird when I see many people growing up with these super heroes as kids but I guess I'm the odd one here. Super heroes just look kinda lame to me.

Yeah, I dont need it to be exact 1 NPC to 1 countable bed. But you know, be able to look around the map and estimate a population in the entire region of 5,000 people and be able to count housing and figure theres beds for at least 3,500. In GTA, you dont doubt the amount of housing available for the amount of NPCs you see. But thats a densely populated modern city.

It would be awesome but given that R* dropped all those collectable items yesterday, I doubt it. I reckon we'll not see part 2 of gameplay until near the end of September.

Hehe. But seriously though, no way it'll take that long. And with all the previews and stuff coming this month it just doesn't make any sense.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. (my profile pic ;) ) I believe RDR2 draws much inspiration from that movie, so it's a must watch.

Welcome!!

There's plenty to recommend. Among my favorites are For a Few Dollars More, Pale Rider, Hang 'Em High, the classic ones.

As for the modern ones, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, 3:10 to Yuma, The Assassination of Jesse James, Hostiles, there's so many!!

It does indeed, the second trailer really shows off how they took inspiration from the film!

Welcome! Can recommend:

Pale Rider

Silverado

The Magnificent Seven (I've only seen the recent remake, not the original one yet)

2 western tv series Godless and Westworld (as well as the 1973 Westworld film) are worth checking out as well.

I haven't yet gotten around to the Dollars trilogy yet but will very soon!
