Which is why what I said didn't seem true to anybody because it wasn't officially posted by GameStop yet. We Weent in the store to order the ultimate edition of the game. The guy at the register said the game can be picked up on the 12th and yes you CAN pick up a digital game, have you ever heard of digital cards? Physical game cards with a game code on it. I see where you're coming from where you thought I jumped a story but you do pick those up, actually now let it. Gooooooooo buddy

Do you already have a base PS4? If so, I wouldn't worry about getting a Pro. Most people who have seen the game say it still looks great on the standard console.

I agree, plus it's gonna be heavily optimized for the PS4 anyway.

Basically, RDR2 will look amazing on a base PS4 with a regular HD TV in 1080p. 

 

With a PS4 pro and an ultra HD TV on 4k it will look even better. If that's worth a grand for you, decide for yourself.

I hope so, or at least have a Stranger in RDR2 that would be his equivalent; the Strange Man was one of my favourite and most mysterious minor characters in RDR.  I still wonder who he is referring to when he says to John "you've forgotten far more important people than me".

just look on the videos comparing games on ps4 vs ps4 pro i´m telling you there is no differences , if you want ps4 pro you will need also 4ktv for eresolution

Rockstar likes to have these mysterious characters in their games which only the protagonists see. Max had Anders Detling in Max Payne 3, Franklin talked to that dog in one of the side missions and there is of course the mysterious stranger in RDR. So I really hope they continue that trend.
