Boring for them as they'd already envisaged what they wanted to see and Rockstar weren't forthcoming with that. Probably wanted to see shooting mechanics and fast gameplay rather than the slow paced horse-drawn carriage, appreciating the scenery and spotting the local wildlife. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they saw the gang moving locations to set up a new camp.

 

It still beats me why people want to see so much, that it could potentially spoil the game for them. Is nothing sacred anymore?

It probably didn't help that the R* presentation seemed to be at the end of a long day sitting in uncomfortable seats? If it had been toward the beginning or even in the middle somewhere of presentations, they probs would've had a better reception. Idk. Exactly. For me personally... I'm very excited  rockstar is slowing things down. Open world games have become an moving at a fast pace blur. I firmly believe this game is going to be the literal "Game changer". Gonna make you appreciate it even more.

The type of demo it sounds like they showed is never good viewing, a lot of even the most excited RDR2 fans would be uninterested by it. Looking at pretty scenery and landscapes gets very old quick when you can't go interact with it.

 

Like Spider said, they probably wanted to avoid leaks at this point so they never bothered showing anything meaty.

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I'll have to agree with Spider on this too. It almost feels like they're concern trolling but I'm not sure what they'd get out of that. I know the game isn't for everyone but as people who work at a huge game store you'd think they'd be excited to see one of the most anticipated titles of the year.
