Personally, I think it RDR2 will be the best game ever made. Not only because of story-telling, graphics, gameplay and immersion but because it will be another milestone Rockstar has produced in the open world genre. 

 

I also have no doubt that it will end up in my top 3 favorite games of all times. Probably number one.

Most of them, yes. The same can be said about RDR2, though. 

 

Completely new things are rare these days.

oath to that. i think now days game company's either get too caught up trying to do something new that they forget what makes a great game good or they don't change at all (cod, assassins creed, farcry, battlefield, etc etc)

I think there’s too much to go into that would take it off topic if I explained my views further, but I genuinely believe Red Dead will be the better game (that doesn’t necessarily mean reviewers will think the same, mind).

im dead set serious, ive played most of those games (excluding overwatch, dark souls 3 and bloodborn) and the only one i enjoyed enough to complete was witcher 3. infact for the last 3 or 4 years i havnt had a game to be excited for like rdr2

Just to end this....

 

I don't think one will be better than the other. Completely different games. GoW is the new standard for semi-linear games, and RDR 2 will probably be the new standard for open-world games.

 

Glad i can play the two in a space of 6 months from each other. Amazing year

GoW is the only game I'm okay with winnng the GOTY instead of RDR2 personally. Didn't play it yet and didn't do any research on it in case i want to give it a try but I like that it proved that you don't need multiplayer, lootboxes etc to make a good game.

I can definitely see it being an emergent thing, but that particular dialogue seemed just slightly scripted, so maybe it was a special mission for John which we did right after saving him in a different mission?

I hope someone uploads the ambient music of RDR 2 if Rockstar themselves don't, like with RDR 1. Prefer that type of music over the vocal songs.

I hope they upload some of it to Soundcloud like they did with the V radio stations, but then again they didn't with the V OST... Hoping for an album, there was one by R* with some of the OST and another by Tangerine Dream themselves that included unreleased stuff.

I'm sure the missions specific to each gang member are going to be a blast.  I think there will be a lot of variety there.

I am DYING for soundtrack details.  My dream scenario was if they do a vinyl format again.  I missed out on the RDR one, and I don't want that to happen again.

If I’m not mistaken on the leaked map in big valley there’s a place called “pronghorn Ranch” where it’s labeled as “homestead/rustling”....Rustling is stealing cattle , sheep etc.
