I bet the reason why Rockstar hasn't been giving us a gameplay trailer for RDR2 is because every time they try to, they just forget what they were supposed to do and get too into just playing the game. Lmao.

Sounds like the transitions will be so minimal and subtle you wont have any in game cut scenes for certain regular actions like when looting a body, etc.

People will still bitch about microtransactions and their focus only on mp after the game releases.

Thank f*ck the “looting a body” feature is returning. Floating money in GTA is cool and all but I can’t wait to hear Arthur’s one liners when he’s taking stuff from a dead NPC.

I agree with all the people above; I greatly appreciate this clear and concise bit of info and context about the game.  

 

My second thought was, why is it so hard to find this kind of clear, direct info?  What is Rockstar's marketing process, that the community has to search this stuff out, hunt it down, translate it, screenshot it? 

 

Apparently Rockstar's marketing is all about access and interviews to the gaming press, much of which is paywalled behind subscriptions.  I guess it's synergistic and good for the press, but it doesn't lead to gamer community-wide dissemination of info, judging by how difficult it is even for this hardcore GTAF community to track it down and consolidate it.  

 

Oh well, I'm sure the marketing geniuses know what they're doing.

Big shout-out to @TheExecutor10 for his translation on very satisfying information that we already knew but it went way more in depth and makes sense now. Guy is an awesome forum member that I've talked to personally multiple times other than just seeing the posts. Always trying to keep the positivity like I try to and is genuinely excited about the technology and things behind this game. Bravo. Also, shoutout to the new forum members that I didn't see thru some of the toxicity that went on today! I went back again just now while feeling more refreshed and I saw all the new names, welcome partners!!! This place is great to be it really does feel like a lil family and that's why myself and others get frustrated when there's some negativity going on here, much like a real brother or sister. We all love each other but we get annoyed as hell sometimes;p and as Josh said "sometimes. Forum brothers make mistakes..." But that's ok, because OUTLAWS FOR LIFE

Maybe. They did it with Destiny 2, Metal Gear Solid V, etc.

 

I bought a PS4 Pro a year ago so it would be a torture to resist the urge of buying this hypothetical edition.
