rdr1 - outlaws to the end represents the literal end of the old west (1911-1914). It represents the circle of gunslingers such as Bill, Javier, John, Dutch, Landon,...coming to a close and making way for civilization.

 

Rdr2 - outlaws for life represents the stubborn rebelious spirit of outlaws being in full effect and not willing to make way for change (1899). 

 

Dutches gang is in it's prime. Seeing all of it's members being...outlaws for life.

To me, the game will show the slow decay of the gang and the gradual fall of Dutch into extremism.

 

"Outlaws for life": you don't want to live like us anymore, you'll pay it with your life. Walk or die.

"Outlaws to the end": whatever you do in the present or future, your past as outlaw will always define your existence, so you will end as one.

Do you think that not getting any RDR 2 news today is very worrisome? Personally, it really through me off. GTA Online is the reason why we're not getting any RDR 2 news. What I really don't get is how was Rockstar able to make a phenomenal game like RDR 2 for all these years when GTA Online was the main focus and was hogging the spotlight?

Because of Idio- I mean players constantly spending money on shark cards and im talking about the whales not the occasional buyers.

They were able to take as much time as they needed to make RDR2 what it is . The success of GTA online only helped that . They know RDR2 will get its big time in the spotlight soon enough and then you gotta run and don’t look back .

R* market their games however they want to. People only like to use GTAO as an excuse. V's marketing was the same and people complained about Max Payne 3 taking the spotlight at the time.
