after years of observing this thread, i found the courage (liquid) to finally create an account on GTAforums, as we delve into the months on this upcoming journey to RDR 2, i want to say all you guys have made my life so much better in many ways that would incalculable

my opinion on the Outlaws for Life thing

 

it does seem a little millenialish compared to "Outlaws till the end" but obviously they didn't want to repeat verbatum, but of course wanted to keep the same initial idea

re: the tagline. Outlaws for life probably fits the story, the gangs on the run, they're gonna have to decide to pick between getting out while they can or living as outlaws... for life.

79 days left it's really looking like we won't get anything ti'll day 70 like GTA 5 a lot of people were saying that and it's starting to look like that. I just figured since they were throwing big ass posters up we might get a new preview or a gameplay trailer something to get excited about.

Hell yeah! I can't wait to take that first walk into a saloon and soak in the new sights and sounds....then promptly throw haymakers at the most over served gentleman in there

Guys, the "outlaws for life" might have a much deeper meaning than y'all might imagine (and no I'm not meaning grove street).

 

rdr1 - outlaws to the end represents the literal end of the old west (1911-1914). It represents the circle of gunslingers such as Bill, Javier, John, Dutch, Landon,...coming to a close and making way for civilization.

 

Rdr2 - outlaws for life represents the stubborn rebelious spirit of outlaws being in full effect and not willing to make way for change (1899). 

 

Dutches gang is in it's prime. Seeing all of it's members being...outlaws for life.

We need someone who lives in NYC to plant some flowers or plants near the billboard and can go there every morning to water the plants and keep us updated on the billboards.

 

It would give them an excuse to go there every day.
