I would pre-order for the treasure map, but I much prefer physical over digital. Especially for this game.

Hm, what exactly do you mean by that ... I also pre-ordered the physical version of RDR2 ... so???

oh ... what the actual??? really??? but as I see it's no additonal treasure to find in the game but rather a head start into finding treasures in the game, right?

If so, I'm glad it doesn't come with my copy.

You only get the treasure map if you pre-order digitally I think

Isn't the treasure map exclusive for people who pre-order the digital version of the game?

The treasure map is a physical thing one can get with certain editions of the physical game.

I preordered my copy at Gamestop i just have a thing for physical R* games. The treasure hunt map i wouldn't want to use, i want this to be a challenging experience for me.

I'll be getting a physical copy because nothing beats opening up the case for the first time and smelling that new game smell.

Oh and there'll be a physical map I can put up too.

Red Dead Redemption 2's pre-order bonuses have been the most convoluted pre-order bonuses for any game ever. Also some really dirty business practices by Rockstar. :/

Same, physical special edition pre-ordered!

Don't get confused people. The Treasure Map is indeed for Digital pre-orders only :)

Edit: Check out the pre-order bonus link to alleviate any further doubts regarding the edition you're interested in.

The 4 artworks that were shown yesterday aren’t up on the official Red Dead Redemption II site yet. I need that Dutch one on my desktop! :panic:

I can't wait to finally play a new single-player game from Rockstar. GTA Online, in my opinion, is the epitome of quantity over quality. 4-5 years of content, but they rarely if ever take the time to polish or balance stuff from the last update. And look at the amount of adversary modes there are. I think it's well over 40 or 50 modes now. On top of the standard modes, missions, and heists, it's hard to find fully populated sessions for a lot of these activities, because most people just do the newest thing or best way to make money.

Disappointed it was Assassin's Creed that got it, but that cover is kinda sick

Too bad the game won't be. They took a year off for Egypt, but went right back to their sh*tty shenanigans right after. This might truly be the first AC I'll skip altogether.

On the top of the boring loading times, that's one major reason why I stopped playing Grand Theft Auto Online a few months after engagement. Too many distractions, icons and mindless activities. I embraced Redemption Multiplayer for many reasons, one of which is the simplicity and the fact that it's self-contained and easy to navigate. And oh, no boring loading times.

ROCKSTAR MANIC

Preferred the "Outlaws to the End" mantra. Sounds more infinite to whatever it goes.  "Outlaws for Life" sounds like once you die its all over.

"Outlaws to the End" served its purpose in RDR.

I'm sure "Outlaws for Life" will perfectly sum up our journey with Arthur Morgan and the gang.

From what I've seen the game looks good itself, but the problem is that It's more of an Origins 1.5 than a new one. Think the game will get generally good reviews but not on the same level as the last one.

Yeah, it served its purpose for the first one.  "Outlaws to the End" sounds more up to the what could be considered an "end" because it depends on you what is an "end". Life is more like being a outlaw legend while you're alive and being forgotten after you perish.

What I've seen of this game so far hasn't impressed me to be honest, hence my apprehension. I hope I'm wrong, but...

I think "Outlaws For Life" sounds cringe. It is something people would say in this modern day social media environment. Hmmm... I am not very hopeful for a deep story, it's most likely gonna be over the top Hollywood GTAV -esque  type of thing. But will see...
