Homemade Dynamite
I was watching the gameplay demo for Cyberpunk 2077, and I remembered that R* has games set in the present (GTA) and the past (RDR), but what about one set in the future? Do you think the R* formula applied to an open world sci-fi setting could work, and could the magic remain? What would you like to see out of it? For one, I don't think it should be tied to GTA, much like how RDR isn't. It'd free up the possibilities. Other than that, I don't know. I'd like to see your ideas. Beato_dim
It had one futuristic open-world game - GTA2. Retro-futuristic, that is.

But that was before they broke through the market and hardly counts. I mean a legit game in the modern gaming era.

ThatBenGuy1998
I don’t think it would be a good idea. Sure, sci-fi can be cool, but it needs to know it’s place. I think that just like vampires, zombies, and werewolves, it’s becoming just too prevalent anymore. Just like Call of Duty and Battlefield, I prefer R* games to just take place in either the past or present. Beato_dim
