If the curtain drops on gtao, I'll probably not be needing anything anymore, so I wouldn't know what to buy last (and continuously afterwards).

Rockstar has said that updates will continue for both gta online and red dead Redemption, they will switch between both periodically.

12sec x $37,000,000 = 444,000,000 seconds

444,000,000 / 60 = 7,400,000 minutes

7,400,000 / 60 = 123,333 hours

123,333 / 24 = 5,139 days

5,139 / 365 = just over 14 years.

On topic, my answer keeps changing the more I read the replies. 

I definitely see the value in purchasing a vehicle, but I think for me it would have to be a motorcycle. Either a Bati 801 because it's hella fun.
Or maybe I cave in and buy the Oppressor, because, well... it's hella fun, too.

Of course, a Savage or Buzzard would be great, because you can just get where you need to get, high or low, near or far, without much incident... well, beyond being shot down.

Something huge and expensive....the aircraft carrier.

And the aircraft carrier is modified to cruise continuously around the map.  And it's equipped with Lazers and Hydras along with all of the military style helicopters. And the boat dock at the stern has a RIB permanently docked. Also the arresting wires work and the bow catapults work. Along with the missile launchers and CIWS defensive weapons systems. Plus there's now a lavish Admiral's mess, wardroom and stateroom to enjoy. And the bridge now has a Captain's chair. Whoever designed the bridge was a moron.  Apparently no research whatsoever. No helm (steering wheel), engine room communicator to control speed, or Captain's chair. Also no Captain's ready room (sea cabin). Also needs to have an Admiral's bridge level.
