When you first leave the Grizzlies...

What will be the first thing you do when you leave the intro area, since the whole map will be open to you?

I plan to catch a train at a stop and ride around for like 30 minutes then hop off and try to find my way back to camp

Or maybe just ride it around to where I got on.

Either way, I'm gonna take a train ride.

Ha ha. Talk to people or shoot them? What a choice!

I think I’ll have a gently stroll around my local area pointing at tiny details and saying things like “look how amazing that pebble is!”

Hahaa it's a tougher decision this time cause of how in depth the game is and how choices matter😋 if I help somebody find something, maybe they'll reward me later on or even become a part of the gang to help out, if I shoot them their family and others will come after me... It's just so interesting and alive!! And I'm obsessed with little detail too. I'm that guy who will play RDR2 not even doing anything sometimes.. I'll just walk through town real slow and listen to NPCs talk and watch their routine and take millions of screenshots just like I do for RDR

I'm not gonna hop on the train as it's moving or anything wild like that at first, I'm legitimately going to go to a stop and catch it, probably at Valentine or wherever the nearest train station is. I'll probably act like a decent human being for the first few hours at least

Haahaaa that sounds dope. But bro once you get the load of that sweet sweet gunplay and dismemberment I bet that "innocent train ride" turns to a robbery and blowing people's heads off point blank

There'll be plenty of time for murder later on. Right at the start though I just want to be bedazzled by the magic and take it all in. Honestly if anything pops off it'll probably be while I'm waiting for the train, and my ADD kicks in and I wonder what happens if I shoot that bird over there...

It certainly is a tougher decision! I always found myself trying to be honourable but then someone would look at me funny and I’d shoot them and half the town and bugger my honour bar 😳

At this point i'd go back towards Blackwater and see what happens and then explore and see how the rest of West Elizabeth looks like in RDR 2. Finally, i'd try to glitch into New Austin, and possibly swim my way towards Mexico too, and see what happens to Arthur and can those areas be reached. That is if those areas stay mysterious as they are today. if not, i'd find another place to search, like the Grizzlies, or start a search for the desert from the trailer, again if it stays hidden as it is today.

Probably take in the landscape first. Tbh, i generally look at the map first in any open world game, to gain a sense of how big or small the map is.

Get in a canoe and row south across Flat Iron Lake and see what happens when I try to come ashore in Mexico

Definitely getting into a fist fight at the nearest saloon. I like OP's suggestion of riding the train for a while and finding your way back. Maybe play with no mini map and compass as well

When this moment appears it will feel like a dream 😛 I think I will just walk around. Listening to the sounds of the world. Enjoying the view and interact with the locals.

After the "tutorial", I'm just going to explore.  Maybe hunt and camp along the way.  Check out some towns and how people interact.

If possible,  I'll make my way to New Austin/West Elizabeth to see how things are there.

I'd like to meet new and exotic people.. and rob them. I want to be the first kid on my block, with a confirmed robbery.

Everybody's ideas sound so great cause this game is so f*cking good. There's literally endless possibilities this time around.. one of the best experiments I did of red dead redemption, was playing with the map off. It's such a cool thing that is hard to explain but needs to be experienced. You listen for the enemies, not look where their blip is... It's just so cool definitely playing like that again sometime for RDR2!! And my God my God that compass is just a blessing. I'm so using that whether I catch a train, take in the views, bond with my horsey BoJack, or go in the saloon to fight and mess around with NPCs;), probably will end up in a bloodbath. I'm way too excited for everything in this game

Probably just gonna go rob sh*t...

Or visit Tumbleweed if it's in the game...

By the way, how early in the game is the Big Frost? I'm thinking of buying as many supplies as i can before that part of the game starts so i can offer them to the gang once the frost clusterf*ck starts. >:)

Enjoying and taking in the atmosphere, then go deep into the wilderness and begin hunting. Hopefully rewarded with some animal pelts and if I don't get eaten by wolves, I will bring it back to a town and sell it. Then I will obviously celebrate my hard earned cash with some drinking, perhaps a bit too much drinking and end up frustrating some of the locals into a massive brawl.

I think what I'll do first is begin trying to find as many animals as I can. Especially in the swamps, because I really hope we get lots of cool insect life there like fireflies and poisonous spiders or even leeches from swimming around the water.

Wherever the heart takes me. 💖🤗

Everything read is alot to take in, so will take my time.

Things will be looking out for is the eco system & seeing an Eagle swoop down to attack a rattlesnake that was described by a reviewer.

What will definitely be doing at some point. Hogtying NPC taking them to edge of Swamp then waiting for a croc to eat them. 10/10

I think I'm gonna go hunting. Just ride around until I can find a big buck, stalk it for a bit, and then take a nice trophy back to camp.

I will take it easy it slow down a bit. Explore more in detail Grizzlies first and then travel further.  According to what we know, game could be overwhelming and I would like to avoid all of that.

I'll probably push the bow mechanics, and see how animals and people react to being hit in deferent locations by it. Watch the rot mechanics in progress. Craft some more arrows and see how people react with your bow out, walking down the road vs your gun. Try and complete as much of the game as I can using a bow on highest difficulty setting as I can, because I just love archery. Explore the map, take down a Grizzle, and Buffalo with my bow. And then start playing more with the guns.  O and yes name my horse CATORI' which is the Hopi tribe word for Spirit.
