Perhaps they will do Dock Tease specials this week, it's been a while since the yacht stuff was on discount, ages since the Tug, the most recent one discounted was the Toro about a month ago.

This week is Elitas, next week is SSASA I think. 

 

I’m guessing they’ll do a 30% off promotion for Dock, Warstock, Benny’s, and eventually Legendary at some point before the next update. At least I hope. 

 

I’m down to needing 4 vehicles, so I’m hoping these go on sale:

-Anti-aircraft trailer

-Prison bus

-Dashound bus

-Toro boat 

 

I’m in absolutely no hurry to pick these up, though

Haha yep gonna finally buy a Yacht. Never wanted to before but I think it's defences will be a fun way to bait a jet griefer and the free proximity mines are always good!

Huh? The cheapest one is 6mil normally so should be just under 4mil with the discount? I too plan to get the Orion. The others are too flashy for my needs.

For all this time I thought the cheapest one was two million and the most expensive was six million. I was going to buy one at the end when the Updates had stopped if I never got round to buying one. Even at four million its a f*cking rip off. 1.5 million and we wold have had a deal.

Yeah, they're very expensive because they're more of a luxury item, like the high end properties and super cars. The value doesn't match their practicality. It's just more a status symbol. I'm still gonna get the Orion as I have plenty of money now.

I like Yachts, I was very tempted to buy one and it was never a question to if I can buy one. Like I said, even if you had a billion dollars its not worth that money. I could buy a Bombuska and get more value out of it than a Yacht.

well, "value". now, that's very subjective I would say. 

yes, to some people it would be absolutely pointless

to own one. I can really only speak for myself in this

case. Got mine when it was 50% off few months ago.

Spawned there a handful of times, never done piracy

prevention since I have more efficient ways to make

money, never really do anything with it. but it's nice

to fly above it as I'm doing my club sale missions or

when helping out friends do theirs. In that sense I do

perceive it as having more "value" than a bunch of

planes I have tucked away in my hangar and never 

use or barely even see them at all. but like I said at

the top of the post, that is totally subjective to my

own play style (passive-income money grinder) as

other people obviously play the game differently.

Same here. My yacht functions perfectly as background filler when flying around in that area. Got mine at Vespucci, so I can see it frequently and even use the icon as a marker sometimes. Haven't been on my yacht in ages, though.

I paid 4 million I believe for the mid tier yacht when they were 50% off because I read it's good for piracy prevention. Im happy and probably made my $ back since already. As a pvp player it is one of the best additions to the game in my opinion.

That's my short list. I have plenty of money, but I'm frugal. Estimating a sale price of 30% off next time they're available, I could save $1.4M between the two. Worth the wait for something I just want to have in my garage.

 

I got to the point I wanted to buy a LAZER a few weeks ago, and didn't feel like waiting on a sale, so I got it. Two weeks later it was on sale. I don't think I've ever seen it on sale. Guess its the way it goes.
