Is the Contender worth it?

So I just bought a Buzzard after doing both the MC business and vehicle warehouse missions. I have some cash left, and wondering what I would spend this money on.. turns out I can buy the Contender.

 

However though, I did surf through the internet for weather or not it's worth it or not. I did watch some videos (not MrBossFTW bs) and turns out they say it's worth it. But what I've seen is performance wise.

 

Then I surf through Reddit, and what they've said is different. Apparently it has a bulletproof windshield which I call absolute BS. Even if it is, I wouldn't call it completely bulletproof (16 shots would damage the windshield, typically from those LWB, V12 armoured vehicles). So that's why I'm here. What do you think? Is it worth spending $250,000?

It's a fast SUV. That's it. It'll get blown up in seconds in freeroam. Do you like it? That would be the only reason for getting it, and 99% of other things in the game. Hardly worth a thread when there is:

Thanks for the opinion, The Contender looks neat (has that cool Toyota Tundra style), but I'm the type of “business” man. So what I see as a vehicle that's best for defence wise and vice versa can be handy at off-roading, but rather save some cash for the Insurgent because it has more features than this, but thanks again.
