And btw Jinx how about the tlad and tbogt radio files the ones named radio_sounds and what not are you going to add them I am currently working on them and only tbogt sounds are left to do

The radio mod works well! But oddly enough whenever I tried to tune out to Independence FM via the radio wheel, the game crash. Does it happen to you as well @Jinx.?

:D u kidding mate? they have the exclusive dlc songs such as songs that can only be heard on tbogt and vice versa

Someone already did that on the tutorials section. The only drawback is ZiT couldn't read the added songs for them to identify.

 

@Jinx.I just realized that Vice City FM and Self-Actualization FM's DJ commentaries are missing. Maybe you can look into that as well?

I pressume they are in the speech files, considering that the DLC radiostations had a radio_speech file. I'll definitely fix it sometime.

 

About the DLC songs... I don't really know. The DLC method seems to work just fine 🤔

Well um I did it if you want I can upload it I as well added in dlc vehicle sounds for the heck of it

Because I want everything to be loaded straight from IV boys not from a mod xD

Coming to think about it, this might help the 1.0.8.0 users/multiplayer users too. So yea, you can do it, if you want!

 

I am gonna open a general thread for EFLC features in IV soon enough, including an all-in-one pack of what I managed to do so far. The true Complete Edition must happen!

Or as I call it The Actual Complete Edition alright I will get some stuff fixed and I will upload it

I am getting the scanner for vehicles done (you know that cop that says what car your driving while in pursuit) and as well as the peds voice (which includes Johnny and Luis) and that way the only thing left is gxt I already got the radio and vehicle names sorted I just need to do zit names and weapons which won't happen unless there is a tool where it allows us to add sounds and not replace sounds that way everything you'll need or all of us need will be done in this case

Nope, no plans. But the no patch version of the mod might work out of the box. Not entirely sure, though.

I updated the OP to include Zolika's tutorial, which not only shows how to make this mod work with EFLC, but also add the IV radiostations, which is the equivalent of what this mod does for vanilla IV! Thank you, Zolika, very cool!

Check the thread I posted above. Legomanarthur figured it out. Also it should be compatible with the vehicles out of the box if you use the no patch version.

Oh, didn't notice it, but the tutorial didn't work for me. I tried to remove the four lines in content.dat file for Tlad and Tbogt content folders.:

 

DISABLE_FILE common:/data/radiohud.dat
DISABLE_FILE common:/data/radiologo.dat
RADIO common/data/radiohud.dat
RADIOLOGOS common/data/radiologo.dat

 

But still It crashes my game :/

Ok, I fixed my problem, kinda, by without using the audio patch method. And It works great, but there two minor problems with this mod. One is that using simple native trainer, It show incorrect names for some of the radio stations for example, Vladivostok Fm is called Electro Choc in the subtitle section, but launching a dlc game with the trainer, the radio station names are corrected with this mod and doesn't show that Vladivostok Fm is called Electro Choc. And the other one is already mentioned, which is about turning on Independence FM and It immediately crashes the game.

I'm kinda late with this post but eh.

 

The first issue is on the trainer's side. Only sjaak can fix that. The second issue is a weird one. I experienced the same issue just a while ago. It's weird because it is not an issue with the patch version at all. I have no idea how to fix it at the moment, so the only option is to not use that radio station at all. Gonna add that issue on the OP.

 

EDIT:  Apparently it doesn't work on the patch version either. Odd. Oh well, don't use that radio for a while.
