Never heard of anyone getting banned from selling cars but if you sell more than one and hour after a certain amount will will get dupe detected and not be able to sell cars anymore. Doesn't matter if they are legit cars or not.

To the contrary, that is not my style.  I have blown up exactly one person's I/E car and thought I was locking onto a police helicopter.   Killing in free mode is the one part of GTA that got boring to me, though I have never been much of a DM guy, either.  I get bored with FPS's, and will date myself here, but have been a fan of GTA since PC overhead liberty city version.  True, I could and can be caught baiting aggro players to come try to f*ck with me.  On old gen I would get wall breachers from under the map.     

 

The car can be quite useful preventing bullets from hitting you.  Also makes for quick dealing with most OG heist missions. No, I am not talking about methodically taking cover and trying to one shot everyone to the head, I am talking about completing the missions as quickly and efficiently as possible.

logghibarogghi, it's been justifiably alleged that when a player's account shows erratic or excessive transactions - usually in the millions or multiple millions - it can, and according to some, has, flagged them for being "cheaters." While I can't attest to this, myself, perhaps this is what happened to you?  Supposedly, selling large lots of vehicles can trigger the whole excessive transactions alert, though I haven't seen it happen to me yet. ...........yet.

I can only speak from my own experience, but as someone with almost 60m in car sales on my main character, legit, all from selling cars to rearrange garages and themes, I don't think selling off your cars, on console at least, should cause you any worry of being banned.

 

As others have said, if you sell too many, currently no more than 8 in any 30 hour (irl) period and even no more than 1 vehicle every 61 minutes. Iirc. Exceeding this can cause you to become "dupe detected" and the limit on how many vehicles you can sell will become greatly reduced, down to 1 every 30 irl hours.

 

There are other factors to take into account, such as custom plates. If you have vehicles with a custom plate that you have since deleted from ifruit, they will be recognised by the game as dirty, selling them could trigger dupe detection. I'd advise changing the plates, if possible, or buying over them and taking the loss.

I dont think these two events related, the only punishment for dupes I know of is super low selling price.

Maybe not the power to let go, but definitely the power to embrace the power this game has to offer, that for me, I often take for granted or just plain forget to notice.

I don't wanna sell my 2013 vehicles. I made new accounts to play gta poor. I think my most expensive car on those is the armored Kuruma. The rest are street cars and cheap bikes.

When I want to be minimalist (which is about half my play time, these days), I use my alt who only has a two car garage apartment, a Double T and a Jester. I've only ever sold maybe 4 personal cars at most, as I only buy things in game that I really want. I've put too much time into getting all my toys legitimately as to give them up freely.

yes i could, now and then i'm selling a lot off my cars.

I also play on my 2nd with minimal toys.

 

But im also stopped grinding cause have so much money.

So i started to set some other goals playing the game cause im not a RDR fan.

For example, i go up noth in the map, request the terabyte to start the bankrob or diamond mission.

Than request a simple car or bike or take a street vehicle and use simple wapons.

The goal is the finish the mission with that vehicle witout dying.

Man that is so hard, when a client job get visible for other players oppressors and deluxo's come to mess up my job.

Sometimes i have fun trying to survive but when it gets to hard  i just leave the session and start over.

Can do that for hours.
