    • No. I prefer "traditional" weaponized vehicles.

We have received a bunch of weaponized vehicles in the last DLCs, but basically armed with miniguns, rockets and other "traditional" weapons. As example of Carmageddon and Twisted Metal, there could be some new interesting killing machines with features like blades attached and rotary cutters to make some blood. I would personally prefer a blade in the front bumper instead of miniguns, this way you could kill pedestrians with a touch. The other thing is the style, this type of vehicle is normally a civilian rusty car turned into an improvised killing machine. My idea is not to make San Andreas a 'Mad Max' arena, but I think we went so far that some weaponized cars have nothing to offer anymore. Please share your ideas.

Yellow Dog with Cone

I say yes.

I mean, more weaponized vehicles are inevitable at this point, so at least make them interesting!

Some new mechanics like saws, spiked front bumpers and wedges that actually work instead of more vehicles ill fitted with peashooters and super accurate missiles.

Also, while we're at it, don't forget to add the ultimate post-apocalyptic car too!

Well, of course. They build them before the apocalypse in case of (and, sometimes, hoping for) it, so it's not like they'd be really out of place when it comes to the game's setting. Certainly no more than the Phantom Wedge or Ruiner 2000. A big "wasteland" themed event occurs out in the desert near Los Angeles every year, too, and those people are all about building props, outfits, and cars in the style of Mad Max, Fallout, Defiance, Enter the Badlands, et cetera.

I think I'd prefer stuff closer to Mad Max, though. Rather than what's suggested above, which seems closer to beefed-up demolition derby cars (which are welcome, too! maybe with a real demo derby arena and gametype). And, though I loathe over-the-top weaponized vehicles, I'd be so happy to see a Quarantine hovercab-style Checker Marathon analogue, preferably as customization/variant for a stock car. Maybe strike a balance with the old Escape from New York-inspired Borgnine from GTA III.

Yes, of course. But for us to have post-apocalyptic stuff we first need the apocalypse, and there's where things could get interesting. I wish J* turns gtao into a nuclear wasteland before they finally pull the plug.

i'd gladly take a Borgnine taxi with the spiked bumpers, maybe another niche too like roadkill increases a nitro meter for it

I dunno, I never been a fan of that kind of stuff. They feel "Hold my beer" kinds of creations.

I'm afraid i have to say no, why? Because their only purpose is to be used in free roam PvP, but if they can make a new modes

Like a vehicle survival mode (PvE) with these things, then i have no problems with these things

Enough of weaponized stuff, like, there is already too much. Like said before, if they were made to a zombie mode or dlc, o. What i am afraid of is seing them being used in freemode to cut another players in two or more parts by some kd warrior.

Post apocalyptic? Yes. Weaponized? No.

Anything from the Mad Max game would be fine with me. As long as the vehicles offensive capabilities are self contained, like the ramming ability of the DoD.

Just no missles or machine guns. Spikes, flamethrowers, etc I'm cool with.

Frankly, any more weaponized and overpowered and I'll feel like breaking my game disk, enough is f*cking enough!

But non-weaponized post apocalyptic vehicle like the Pursuit Special? Count me in.

No Use For A Name

Sure, as long as they give us some apocalyptic garages. Like on the side of Chiliad, that would be awesome

I agree with pretty much everyone and think they’d be cool as long as they’re not weaponized.

I’d love to see more cars that are purely defensive but also have good performance. Something like the Duke O’ Death but with the bullet resistance of the armored Karuma and the exposive resistance of the Insurgent. Something that can actully escape a try-hard but can’t be used for griefing itself.

Let’s be honest, such a thing would be very appropriate, with everyone and their 6yo nephew flying around in an Opressor, Hydra, Hunter, Deluxo, etc, it already feels like the freaking apocalypse. Last time I played, the ground hardly stopped shaking

Bug-out vehicles? Hell yes! But nothing weaponized. I don’t mind vehicles like the Technical or Armored Boxville, as they are realistic. Vehicles with hidden machine guns and rocket launchers are just silly in my opinion.

I’ve oft thought it’d be amusing to add fascimiles of cars from Twisted Metal, or maybe a game mode similar to it. Ice cream van with icecream cone missiles, Infernus Classic with a laser beam/emp, Marshall/Liberator able to crush cars, Tornado Rat Rod with an explosive boomerang, Lurcher with a richochet bomb, Voodoo lowrider with a flamethrower. So on and so forth

Voted "no", because I'm sick and tired of militarization in this game. I'd go as far as saying we already have too many weaponized vehicles, heck, we've got too many of them when Gunrunning dropped. Enough of PvP in freeroam!

All that being said, however, if there was a zombie/post-apo DLC with proper story missions, being detached from the rest of GTA Online, I'm sure I'd give it a try and remain open minded. In a perfect world, this DLC would require creating a new character, and would be set in separate sessions, adapted to this DLC's mechanics. So otherwords, there would be only the post-apo content in them. That's something I could enjoy.

As far as adding post-apo cars just for the same of adding them and increasing the number of weaponized vehicles, no, I don't want that to happen.

Honestly, I would be fine with mad max stuff, but not this pseudo d.i.y. weaponized horsesh*t. Like if they added a bunch of new cars like a mid 70s cutlass or something then gave it a mad max version, I would be fine with that. Then add a bunch of beater versions of existing cars and it would be the best dlc ever in my books.

Voted "Yes" only because I'd like to have the Aussie Ford Falcon.

I would want to be able to order it stock, then have all the Mad Max style components and weather-beaten liveries available at LSC. We could have the ability to own it both ways.

No weapons needed, except maybe the ignition bomb. :)

Precisely this, imagine getting a bunch of cool old cars as just regular trucks and muscle cars and slowly being able to turn them into rusted out mad max murder machines. Would be the best update we ever got by far.

Well, no great story ever started with "Hold my quinoa-shake."
