GTA Plus Enjoyer
I installed THIS ENB for GTA:SA. It adds a sh*tton of files. Anyways, I ran GTA:SA and it was working perfectly, it would always be at 60FPS. However, when I run SA:MP, it simply won't launch... it stays in Task Manager like this: I let it stay like that, but the CPU or RAM usage didn't change one single bit. It's really frustrating. I tried to delete gta_sa.set, run it as admin, run it in compatibility mode (win98 just runs :7777 server automatically, won't let me choose), download some fixes, etc. What could I do? I'm on Windows 10.
LaDiDa
Not mixing mods might help for one... Just don't mod SAMP (a mod for the record) and you should be fine, add more mods to that mod and you run into incompatibilities.
Mysterdogg
If I'm not wrong, Marty Mcfly always includes a detailed Readme file in his releases, and MMGE 2 is not the exception; there he clearly says that his modifications doesn't work with samp and he won't make them compatible with multi-player versions of the game due to the multiple incompatibilities. It's called 'MCGE V2', not MMGE 2... and besides, I solved it. I'll simply install another ENB although this one was perfect.

You could still try it by using a SAMP fixer present in the newer ENBs like MMGE 3 & DirectX 2.0; some players have reported that gta_sa_compact.exe also fixed their problems. I'll use a different one, Ivy enb... some people said that installing DirectX 2010 Runtimes (something like that) might help because it's due to the d3d9.dll file... btw now it doesn't even launch gta, it just crashes immediately... Fingers crossed that it'll work, installing DX right now.
Mysterdogg
ENBs are really tricky, every computer will take it different. Some fixes work for some players and others not. All we can do is to suggest you some ways to make it compatible but as we said, ENB and SAMP aren't compatible the most of the times. You could always try another graphic enhancers like SkyGfx (works perfectly in SAMP), Renderhook or Reshade; those are less invasive to the game files and more stable for game play. I downloaded ColorMod... it doesn't have some features like HD water, and car reflections, but it'll do the trick... combined with a new timecyc. LaDiDa
I'd suggest using skygfx anyway. You'd be surprised how superior the PS2 post processing is over the PC's non existent post processing.
