GTA Online's Biggest Problem Is Other Players

Personally i dont think the community is toxic but play styles are different definitely,  free roam is free roam its anything goes 

 

This does cause conflict and arguements/pisstaking/etc etc but is it is what it is

I used to play in solo public but I've changed since then. Now I enjoy collecting and selling crates in full lobbies. Majority of the time people leave me alone. It's rare if I have to resort to using Ghost Organization.

Recently ive been playing with 2nd character rank25 and rarely get confronted, the moment i join with original character the kicks,messages flood in

To me it's kinda the gun and the shooter kinda story. Whatever you get handed in any situation, the choice is still yours what to use or not. There are plenty of players around who do not use certain vehicles or weapons to troll/grief with at all. They find a different use for it and utilize them and be productive with them. Others use them to grief and satisfy a certain lust for dominance or anything into that direction. 

Then there are players with half a brain (if even) who take on any of those vehicles they see, whether it is used to grief or not. I am in the middle on who's the worst kind of those too. 

You don't need to use a gun, even if you have it. The gun won't change physically and will never be a problem. It's the one who fires it which is. So yeah, the players are GTA:O's biggest problem. And of any other MMO out there. As well as just about any social media form...

I'm going to have to echo the overall game balance, or lack of, as the biggest problem. Because of the imbalance it's easier for a certain playstyle to take precedence.

 

There needs to be some kind of heavy buy-in for attackers. As it stands, any noob on a broomstick or with a handful of explosives, can wreck the labored efforts of a business person, just by being in said lobby. That's not balance. All product should remain hidden unless stumbled upon, a certain distance from a seller. Or from having to buy a location revealing source. There should also not be preset, extremely restricted, sale options. Should be more like the NC for all business; never more than 1 vehicle. Only sale size requirements for vehicle option.

 

There should also be lobby options for as many playstyles as there is for aim preferences.

 

If anything, the melting pot that is FR is proof that heavy diversity, with a lack of authority, is not always a good thing for everyone.
