From what you've seen, do you think the game will have a long and great story? And also, after you finish the story, do you think there will be enough side quests/activites to keep the players busy, and so that they dont get bored?

Great to see the old gtavoclock back for RDR2. I really enjoyed your videos during lead up and around the release gtav and look forward to your content this time around.

Now onto the question. What most impressed you graphically about the game or did better compared to other open world games currently out?

Q1: Does the game inform you of the quest type you are currently doing ? Is it main or side quest ?

Q2: Is it possible to encounter NPCs you have helped to assist you with a main quest ?

Have you seen dismemberment mechanics yourselves? Did R*, restrict certain things in the demo that you could see or could or couldn't do, In order to avoid spoilers??

have you seen the desert area? if you have what is it like compared to the grand senora desert in gta 5?

 

did you encounter any native americans besides charles smith? and did you see any tipis or native american settlements?

 

how many interiors did you see? and what kinds are in the game?

 

did you see new austin or west elizabeth? if you have what are they like compared to red dead redemption 1? what is new and what is the same?

 

are there any cannons? and is there a el presidio type fort?

We just didn't get around to it. I'll try and explain a bit here. Physics are definitely in the game, people fall down after being shot in a way you'd expect them to. Perhaps the best example I remember is when we shot a stranger off his horse in The Heartlands and instead of just falling off, he got tangled up in his horses reins (perhaps he was holding on to them, it was a fair distance away) and got dragged along the ground for ages before the horse bolted and left him on the ground

Red Dead Redemption also had people getting caught in their stirrups after being shot from their horses, it is cool to see that feature returning. Would you describe the physics as being closer to say, Max Payne 3 rather than GTA V?

Still getting around to watching all the previews and finally finished the O'Clock hands on report. Great stuff and quite thorough!

 

The opening being kept a secret was a interesting discussion and the idea we might start off as someone else had me thinking. The easy way is to think maybe we play as John, throwing a red herring and bamboozling folks thinking they're playing as the protagonist from the previous game. But then gets taken out of action with his injuries and then control switches to Arthur?

 

Another wilder and darker idea i had was maybe we play as a different outlaw in the gang and as things go wrong Dutch orders Arthur to kill you because you're actually a pinkerton spy that have Intel about the Blackwater job? Control switches to Arthur and then we learn the person we were playing as and was just killed by Arthur was actually Sadie's husband?

How were the forests? Are there many dense areas like that?
