What is happening to my heists?

It takes a while for me to get three more players to do the prison break setup but on two occasions I have managed it however as soon as the mission starts the other three players vanish without mention and I end up alone in my flat back in free mode, not saying lost connection or anything.

 

What's going on?

Servers disconnect. Been like this since day 1 of heist.

normal server disconnects...

 

back when i used to do heist with my friends, we all joined a invite only session and launch heist from there, we got less issues this way.

This! It makes so much of a difference in loading times too when you finish and come back to freeroam. Takes 20 seconds instead of 2 minutes or so to load into a session

The number of times I get stuck in the clouds is unbelievable. I mean seriously if it takes longer than a minute why don’t they dump you in your own piblic session or at least kick you back to sp. but there’s no way to get out of it other than to pull your connection or to restart the game.

If you play alone, it's going to be tough to find enough people (aside from the finales, that is), especially if you're at lower rank. Find some trusted players, either by accepting random heist invitations, socializing with randoms and inviting them to your friends list (never underestimate the power of socializing, that's how I met my Criminal Mastermind team), and/or asking on our forums. If you're on PC, I can help you out, been a while since I've been heisting, could definitely do few for fun.

Having at least one trusted person with you, you know won't quit, makes life easier. Disconnects and people quitting are very common problems, that's why Doomsday Heist can be done with only one partner, even though otherwise it's pure trash inferior to even Series A, which at least is somewhat balanced and offers relatively fair challenge.

I've noticed this is rampant with DD heists. If i quick join from my phone, forget it. Nearly every time, I get dumped to the clouds and sit there waiting and waiting until it times out or I yank the chord.

And that f*cking CEO bug has been around since day 1? BUT I GOT MY ROCKET BIEK!!!1
