I removed the triads hood from LV a while ago, the mafia hoods can be added through using the 'More Peds' add-on.

PedTweaks has been updated:

  • Added a stable ASI to add unused dealers models instead of SCM method which caused crashes (thanks to HollywoodJack).
  • The hispanic, white and black dealers now spawn together in the same zones.
  • Added texans (converted by _F_).

Note: Concerning 'More Peds', you can remove any desired ped by looking for it in the 'Changes.log' file and removing it from the provided data files.

this update cause crashes sometimes at least for me :/ i guess, this is because of the second and the third change (dealers and texans), because the crashes happening in these areas

did you fix crashes in SAMP?

The update works fine for me using the Open limit adjuster, try increasing the limits in your limit adjuster.

Yeah I can confirm, this mod is basically broken now. It crashes after a few minutes and think I actually get *more* ped variety without it. I literally changed the ped values in the limit adjuster by multiples of 10 and it still crashes so idk what else to do. Worked fine before the update.

I did some changes to the ASI and it should be working fine now. Use the asi provided in 'CrashFix'.

Btw texans has no issues, the asi was the reason behind the crashes in Desert towns.

I'll add the new asi to the main archive soon.

Your mod is very cool and works great for me without any problems (I am using the old version downloaded from MixModes). Thanks for the excellent work!
Thanks to the .ini file, I was able to add additional female police models from SAMP to the game. And it looks great. I know that you are against adding new models to your mod. But these models from SAMP look very natural and do not violate the atmosphere of the game. I would also like to add an additional female model from SAMP for paramedics.
May I ask you to add such an additional function with the ability to configure in .ini (just as you did for the police)?

"Gone Courting" and 1 of the 2 remaining missions. Crashing after a few seconds since the mission is completed. Btw, even if I complete these missions without the mod, save the progress and then install the mod again, the game will crash. Tested on original copy of the game with this mod installed.

  • The male lifeguard now spawns as a beach ped instead of only appearing in SF gym.
  • Restored two cutscene Grove Street members seen in Los Sepulcros.
  • Restored an unused SF ped and he now spawns in SF Average group.
  • Restored two unique peds from the mission 'Madd Dogg' to SF and LV.
  • Restored the Italian mafia, they now have turfs in LV.
  • Restored the two texans, they will spawn in desert towns.

  SCM Fixes

  • Noodles and Ice cream vendors now spawn in there respective carts.
  • Replaced Denise with a hooker in the mission 'A Home in the Hills'.
  • Added LVPDM1 to Cop Wheels and Breaking the Bank at Caligula's missions.
  • Triads spawn as casino guards instead of normal bouncers in Four Dragons casino.
  • Guards in the mission "Customs Fast Tracks" will now use the normal guards.
  • Claude's now uses his own model instead of using "Woozie's in Farewell, My Love..".

  INI Features

  • The ability to add second officer & cop biker models to each city by typing their IDs in the .ini file.
  • CDEPUT can now spawn in the desert too via an option in the .ini file.

Anyone has an idea why am I getting this error? The only thing I didn't include with the PT was mafiahoods.cs, since I don't want the Italian mafia to have turfs..

Other than that pretty much everything was set the right way.. at least I think.

Any SCRLog for the crash? the last opcode was 'WAIT <MS>' opcode, I'm guessing there is an issue with loading models, but a SCMLog will make things more clear

The command READ_INT_FROM_INI_FILE (opcode 0AF0) returns 0x80000000 if no value was found.
0x80000000 represents the default value probably in case the command fails to read the ini content.
I don't know why opcode database doesn't have that in this particular opcode description...
So if I were you I would make some cond. checks.

 

Other then that, mod users might input the wrong value inside the ini which will result bad things.
There're methods to check if a weapon value is really a weapon. The same goes for vehicles or peds.
