Phatgordo13
I like Liberty because it was so ground breaking. It made it so much better to know its never been done before. Vice is just as good because it pushed the envolope even farther. I cant wait to see what theyre going to try in the next game.

Diesel
if they do make a new gta it better be a USA city otherwise it will suck um.. and why is that? I preferred Liberty. Vice is physically better, but for some reason I don't like it as much... not as many awesome unique stunts, no subways to race trains in, no hills to explore with the Landstalker, no dam to drive sideways along, matrix style
DAN_F83
I don't care where GTA is set - I'll play it anyway. Yeah Vice City is flat, there's no subway or trains, who cares - it's GTA and it's f*cking fun!! even without those things. You'll get your hills in San Andreas It would be fun if they set a gta outside usa - like London, but I don't think they should do that again, since the Getaway has done GTA style game in London pretty well. Any city could be made into an interesting setting for GTA, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Glasgow, Dublin, Sydney... any of them could be great fun!! And even if the map wasn't that great - the game should still be good - since there's so many missions etc to do. GTA is a Scottish game I thought, they might not make it all from there anymore - but that's where it at least started - so why should the game only be based in USA? It's not a usa game... anyway - we just have to see where R* wants to have in the game, we don't get to choose

Rhinopotomas
Liberty was awesome because it was so real. Staunton with the thriving commercial district. SSV with all the hills and mansions. Portland with all the cool gangs and dirtyness. Subways, Elavated Railroads and Tunnels. It was just so well layed out. I've only played Vice once or twice but I'm totally in love with it, It has everything, The thriving commercial district, rich people island, Little Havana, real 80's music radio stations (I hate 80's music but they pulled it off) beautiful lakeshore drives, and even a Film Studio and more. I can't wait to cruise around on the PC version. I like Vice better probably because i'm getting tired of GTA3.

SniperGuy
I agree with Rockford. Since when is there crime in Amsterdam or Sydney, Australia(you got to be kidding me). Face it, the USA has all the crime and all the best cities. They need to cover the USA cities before they start moving to new countries. I want a Jetsons style GTA. -Gnobe-
i like both the cities, liberty mainly because its hilly areas unlike vic but vc i think has a better feel to the game or whatnot doesnt feel as grey , um...you know
Mini-Gun
Liberty. I still love VC but Liberty is so much better , more diverse and the general map design and layout is excellent. The suburbs of Shoreside Vale , the depression of 1st island and the commericalism of Staunton Island. The VC map can get repetitive and isn't half as good as the Liberty map. PetsOvernight
At first when I got VC, I though, "Oh man! This is so much better than LC!"... but, well, as other people said, it's too flat... I mean I know it's Miami but still... I loves the subway tunnels and road tunnels and L-Trains in LC... It just made it feel so real and exciting... and I found it more... uh, alive. Like, Vice gets so dull at night. LC was always booming with bums and prostitutes and just weirdos... At night in VC there's hardly anyone... and no one has really good comments. Overall, LC was a way better city, but VC was overall more fun because there was so much more. I hope to see another NYC type stle city in the next GTA. Subways and stuff. Mini-Gun
Another thing that Liberty has was those underground slipways , they were fun for getting chases. Vice needs them.
DAN_F83
And Vice has no chatterbox!!!!!!! nooooooooo wait - I'll just copy the file from GTA3 and put it in the mp3 folder! ahhh - phew Sniper - yeah lots of crime goes on in usa - but there's crime in other places too - like that Paris jail escape with rocket launchers and stuff.. and there's gang stuff everywhere - story about a gangland shooting in Dublin a couple of days ago.. That prison riot in Honduras... there's loads of crime everywhere. You should be willing to try new things - R* aren't going to make a GTA set in Amsterdam or somewhere and not put any crime in it - no matter where they set it - the game will work + be great. If anything it will make the game even better if it's set outside usa - there's not really that much left to do with usa - it's all been done before. Before they go international they have to make San Andreas , however I would like a London 1969 remake. And many international cities would suck. LAPD_Snake
I liked Liberty City more. I don't know why- it just had that "feel" that some games seem to have for some odd reason. Vice City, for some reason did not really have that. Maybe that was because I played GTAIII first, but just the same. I also like the island set up better in GTAIII quite a bit better. killingzoe
Liberty city no doubt was better. i liked it cuz they filled that map to the brim. only shoreside had a very few spots that werent filled. stauntan island is the only place i really hang about cuz its a city. the reason that the city is better is because it is more like a city and has hills, better roads, and just looks better period. and what is this crap about people saying that there is no crime in london. what about the IRA? Hyde Park? Harrod's? that is much better than U.S. cuz that is terrorism and not some small time crime. it still has plenty of crime like any other major city even though the people cant carry around guns and whatnot. if anyone has played the getaway then u will know will know where i am coming from. the driving in the getaway is unbelievably realistic and much better. even though i think i would rather have the next one in san andreas. bottom line: i like gta3 better than vice. Icarus
To tell you, it's hard to pick between Vice City and Liberty. I really like Vice City because it really captured the 80's well and I really like some of the cars. The advantage to VC is that you can drive the motorbikes and you can actually fly the helicopters or the raptor which is the best copter of them all! Liberty was also good too as the weapons were very good and some of the cars were excellent but if I were to pick, I'd take Vice!
