Is this actually true?

So today for some reason i don't even remember why, i googled cockroaches in gta IV and while i was reading an article on GTA WIKi i read this "In the GTA IV beta, the splattered cockroach on Roman's shoe was much larger and gruesome looking. In the final version of the game, the cockroach splatter is smaller and not as gruesomely detailed." Is this actually true and is there photo/video evidence of this because i can't find this

Yes man, the splatter was bigger in the BETA. If I remember correctly it was bigger during one of the trailers.

I think it's just you because they seem fine to me. I got them on imgur which doesn't break often

Ah.. sorry it was strange problem for me. I just connected with VPN and it solved my problem.

It's the EXACT same image on both, it's just lower res and scaled smaller in the final version, so the whole "much less gruesome" thing is a bit weird but hey it's GTA Wiki.

What I also noticed is that the saturation and the contrast of the colors changed between the beta and the final version. Anyway can I say that the cockroach in the final version is way more realistic? I've never seen a cockroach like the one in the 3rd trailer, probably in the beta Roman had in his house mutant insects
