I personally do not believe he is guilty due to a lack of evidence.

I personally believe he is guilty. I mean, I think it's pretty obvious. He was always inviting kids over to his "Neverland" and would even have them sleep over in the same bed as him. I don't know about you but to me that screams pedo. Also, when it comes to lack of evidence, I mean the guy was filthy rich and really popular. Of course he's not gonna get caught over something like that, he can afford not to. Need a good example? Look at Harvey Weinstein. The guy isn't a pedo (at least not that we know of) but he is a rapist that was released on a million dollar bail. Something like that would normally be a mandatory prison sentence, but not for the rich and powerful.

Can the man rest in peace, yet??

If you want to litigate Michael Jackson I've got some bad news for you: he's a pile of bones sitting 6 feet underground.

OK, but all I'm doing is offering my opinion on the matter

So you're a sworn advocate of guilty until proven innocent?

So you're one of those "the law is always right no matter what" kind of people?

I'd imagine if any of the accusations against him was true we'd know by now, considering he's been dead for years.

except you wouldn't. Why? Money. Doesn't matter if he's been dead for years. He still has an overall good image and I'm sure his family wouldn't want that ruined

Ever heard of Jimmy Saville? To answer your first statement, I'm no more in love with the law than you are I just have the sense not to jump to a conclusion without suitable evidence to back up a claim. Better still, what evidence I do have I try to challenge to make sure it's accurate and not a convenient facade to justify a possible lie. There is too much doubt to the accusation and being a live and let live kind of person, I'm not going to damn the man just because someone else has. By and large I've no love of the man and care little for what he's done, but I really do detest wanten ignorance and slander. If you have absolute proof of his guilt and not just circumstansial hear-say then let us hear it.

I don't think the overall good image is as true as it is valid. There are many other facets of his character that turn people away, but on the other side of the coin there are those that will stand by him and defy the evidence because they practically worship the man. As for my opinion, I think Michael was a man with a broken brain. Whether or not you chalk this up to environmental or institutional abuse from his family is another matter, because you could argue all day along about why he was so naive in certain aspects of his life. He has been filmed and recording saying he saw absolutely nothing wrong with sharing his bed with children, and if it came to it he would sleep on the floor and let them have his bed. To Michael, this was the ultimate act of selflessness and kindness. The problem then lies with what else he might have been doing because he still believed he was doing the right thing. Is it strange? Absolutely. Do I think he touched these kids inappropriately? Maybe, but if he did I don't think he did it through malice or abuse on the vulnerability of these children. I think he'd have done it because in Michael's head it was the right thing to do. By no means am I trying to justify this behaviour, and I want to make it clear that I am not fishing for excuses to suddenly make this acceptable. To me, Michael Jackson is an eccentric and intriguing figure who I don't think we'll ever understand or learn the truth regarding.

I read something interesting about a certain celebrity (I can't remember which unfortunately) who actually went to Michael for help because they felt uncomfortable around other producers and directors who would absolutely split them open like a ripe peach. He took them in and kept them safe. Obviously this is one instance, but it does make you think about how much of a problem it was (and remains to be) in showbusiness.

MJ certainly had been very naive and had shown a lack of good judgement. He had a lot of psychological issues because he was abused very badly as a child. But the accusation against him is known to be a case of extortion.

I'm a massive MJ fan, and believe him to be innocent until proven guilty, though I don't deny MJ had mental issues, and hadn't shown good judgement.

There was an apparent raid on his home that circulated a couple of years ago (read it here) which didn't do him any favours. If giving children wine and touching them inappropriately was hearsay and extortion, possession of indecent images certainly isn't.

Having porn doesn't make you a sex offender. Furthermore, he was acquited of all charges. If he would've had child porn there he certainly would've ended up in jail.

He supposedly had this book according to the article: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fourth-Sex-Adolescent-Extremes/dp/8881584042

"Other books found by police contained images of children nude or in swimwear."

This once again completely depends on context. Something such as vacation photos can have nude children in them, but they are not necessarily child pornography.

The article is also supposedly from questionable sources. On Rolling Stone it says there is info from the internet that is mixed with genuine info. All in all, there's no evidence MJ was a sex offender.

Hence why I said "allegedly" and why I wasn't so damning. I'm saying if it was the case, that would be more solid evidence than hearsay.

I wasn't an MJ fan (at least I wasn't until probing some of the arguments against and the sore lack of support for MJ) and can either take or leave his music, but this guys rebuttal resonates and makes some very strong arguments. There are sources in the vid

Thank you @Cudwieser for sharing that video.

Here's one of many interviews that proves Michael Jackson was not what the lying media was trying to make him be.

After they (unknown) tried in the late 80's to destroy his image and reputation, Michael managed to stay strong and overcome the humiliation.

But then he ultimately believed that they (unknown) actually were going to waste him. Guess what... nobody saw it coming.

Anyway, here's one his songs he wrote to fire back at the media that were circulating rumors and crazy stories about him on the tabloids.
