Favorite French Horror Film

French horror was really big there for about 10 years. Not sure what it's like now. 

 

Switchblade Romance is pretty good or Haute Tension (2003) as it's known in French, but you probably have seen that. There there's "Inside," or À l'intérieur (2007) as it's known in France.

I'm not sure, but the original Martyrs I think is French. That one was pretty good, much more enjoyable as a film unlike my next one, Baise Moi.

Martyrs (the original one from 2008). It's an aggressive film so don't watch it if you're sensitive to such things.

The Beast (1975). It's not that scary but extremely original, artistic and weird movie.

I haven't watched all my Jean Rollin movies from Black House & Maison Rouge yet but Fascination was pretty good.

Does Jess Franco's Countess Perverse count as French?
