I won a pair of custom MP3 xbox 360 controllers in 2012 in the first sweepstakes R* posted. Still remember getting the email not believing what I saw. I quickly responded, and about a few months later I received the package through the mail.  I left one sealed, and opened one controller to play.  Still have them till now, best R* thing I could have.

The pictures here are the sealed version I opened to have a pristine view of the controller.

 

I  added MP3 lithographs from the special edition, bullet chain, and the Glitter R* stickers.

Its engraved, Im guessing where the X on the home button was lasered to make the logo. I opened it the other day, and it still has a faint smell of paint. Now I know R* aren't cheap f*cks they churn out quality on things like these too.   Oh, and the pill bottle I believe was a stencil like what they do with the tattoos so its painted on there. Just like my GT near the mic port.

Was this lucky opportunity what brought you into collecting , or did you start collecting merchandise before this happened ?

Well before I won those controllers, I already had a bunch of R* games and their strategy guides very basic collecting. I will be honest, Its hard calling myself a collector because usually merchandise is expensive.
