Online modding

On online, I want a mod that displays speed on screen and a graphics mod. Are these allowed or am I going to get banned because these mods don't affect the servers.

The mods that I want to use only affect my screen so nobody else is going to notice any difference. Tell me if I am wrong.

You are wrong. Anything unusual in the game files will be detected, it doesn't matter if it's visible to others or not.

I mean it's not as simple as that and there's no directory scanning, but for what you'd want, there's just no point in risking your account just for those things anyway. Having your account suspended (or banned) and completely wiped to go with it is a bit too much for just using a speedo and a graphics enhancement (which by the way would be unfair if it allows you to spot other players more easily or at greater distances etc).
