How Tony Ciprani killed CJ [SPOILERS]

CJ f*cked with Salvatore Leone when CJ was in Las Venturas, helped find Paul and Maccer, killed the Forelli hitmen that tried to land on the Las Venturas Airport, wiped out the Forelli's in Saint Bistro, CJ f*cked a staff member to get  permisison to use the keycard, CJ stole his casino, f*cked with his business, and well, Salvatore Leone lost more than 10kk dollars, or something like that, at the end of GTA SA, Sal Leone will call CJ, threatening and saying "I WILL MURDER YOUR FAMILY, THIS AIN'T OVER YET"

That's all in 1992

Then, in GTA LCS, Tony Cipriani is back in LC to do dirty work for Mr. Leone, he was sent to a mission in LS to kill some famous and powerful gangster.

Ironic, huh? So he probably or maybe killed the Johnson family and was forever history and anyone who stands in his way. He cut loose ends and make sure Leone would be pleased.
It is also known that in some of the chats radios in GTA LCS, you can hear Denisse crying because the possible death of CJ saying the following words 'Why you had to go CJ?"

CJ went to Toni's restaurant during a business trip to Liberty City and Toni poisoned his macaroni salad. It was a swift death.

He posed as a fake 5'1 Italien prostitute named Gianna offering sexual services at a newly built 4-star hotel In San Fierro, Toni then shot CJ with a colt python as he arrived in the hotel room & cut him up into little pieces and sold his flesh to the struggling Beef Bandit food chain.

Toni killed a made man from some rival mafia family. And, even if he had killed CJ, why would he escape from Liberty City ? LC is his home, he will be most secure in LC. He is a made man, he doesn't needs to fear and hide from some street gang (GSF) which is not even present in LC.

It wasn't just some famous and powerful gangster. It was a made man. CJ is out since you have to be of full italian descent.
CJ didn't look very italian if you ask me.

Didn't he leave the country as a whole as opposed to just the city? A couple of gangbangers could likely find him and kill him just by looking him up in Liberty City. In a foreign country, probably not so much.

Okay but that still doesn't address my post. Not only that but as I said before, they could be using "made man" in the context as a "man who has it made". By the time you finish San Andreas, CJ owns an airstrip, manages a rapper, is a co-owner of a casino, etc. so he's pretty much got it "made".

A made man generally refers to someone who is a full member of a proper Mafia organization, this is especially true within context of LCS as it's revolved around the Mafia therefore made man in this case would almost 100% refer to someone who is directly associated with a crime family. CJ was "made" in the sense he had it all but within context of the Leone family story arc thing they had going on he was not a "made man" and therefore when they refer to Toni killing a made man it's almost certain they're talking about a rival family member, not CJ. I also doubt people like Salvatore and Toni himself would refer to CJ as a made man, even in a colloquial sense, considering he's not affiliated with any organization and such. Eddo definitely didn't argue his point very well but arguing that the Leone's would have referred to CJ as a made man is just blatantly ignoring the context of the game.

If it would have been indeed CJ then we would surely know that. Besides, the two terms are not meant to be used synonymously. If it wasn't an Italian made man they could have said that "Toni killed a man who had it made." Then I surely wouldn't have any doubts in this. It's more than likely to me that Tommy Vercetti could have been the target of this hit but even if, it's doubtful to me either. I'm 100% sure that the "made man" was probably an important guy from the Sicilian Mafia, that would kind of explain why they are trying to gain influence in Liberty City. Or there could be more Mafia families that we don't even know of.

Did the characters within the game actually call him a "made man" or was it just mentioned on the back of the game cover? I think within the game they kept it ambiguous.

It's on the back of the PSP game box, don't remember if it was mentioned in game. I think it was in a throwaway piece of dialogue or something?

I don't think it was a mentioned ingame, but then again, it's been years since I played LCS.

 

Regardless of whether or not it was what Toni had to leave the country for or not, I'm sticking to my theory that the Leones whacked CJ for robbing their casino in SA. Sal doesn't seem like the kind who gives idle threats.
