RDR2 is an astonishing game, I haven't played Online yet, but I know that it has potential! The RP community will love it I'm sure.

Ironic that the most mature and developed RP scene is on the same platform it's not currently released on....  But given modders and server coders will have a field day with RDM (whatever it ends up being called), R* actually getting their initial stages of RP released with the roles, isn't stupid.

There will be many more roles and jobs with modded servers to RP on.

Red Dead Online will be a good alternative until RP servers will start existing.

I'm actually very excited to get stuck into RDRO once all of the proper content is patched in. This roles stuff seems really cool, just as from an outsider's perspective. There's a lot of people on PC who would be big into such things. 

 

Still doesn't change the fact that it's been such a slow-moving trainwreck. Look, I'm sure it has improved but the fact that it somehow launched in a worse state (content-wise) than GTAO is not very encouraging to me.

I'm very excited too, I'm sure I'll be playing alone but I think that having at least one or two friends with whom you can immerse in the game would be very very cool. Although you have to like RPing.

Apparently dev-kit versions of the PS5 are around.
Seems like developers are already using it.

This is been confirmed by Matthew Scott (Codemaster's senior artist) in a tweet that he then deleted. Although its release is expected to be late 2020, the presence of a working PS5 dev-kit is bad news for us regarding RDR2. 
I'm still convinced tho that would be stupid to release the game first on next gen and then PC.

It's been at least a year that dev kits were sent to studios, maybe more for bigger studios like Rockstar. I don't see why it's bad news, the only new things that the PS5 will have compare to the PS4 is better hardware and a reworked interface, the architecture is near the same as the PS4 and a PC. It's now easier to port a PS4 game to PS5 than an PS3 title to PS4. That's why it's the devs who work at Sony/Microsoft that do the porting, they have the tools and everything else.

 

EDIT: BTW that thing is ugly as hell but atleast they have improved airflow lol

Those cyfral game copies arrived to electronics store named "M Video" (actual store in Russia), those were ready for purchase, but removed because of price, which was incorrect. About R*, they said that there's no info from them, but they gonna announce something in September

What do you think about picture? I was thinking on Windows 10 title, if it's a photoshop/fake or smth, or it's just related to Microsoft Store since they have common between Xbox and Windows 10

Additionally, people checked Microsoft Store for smth, but there's no information yet

At the bottom on this card you can see "McLaren Automotive Ltd 2018". Maybe thats the DLC ?

Should we speak up and and send a beefy message? A message that contains everything we know about the PC version sent to Rockstar and Take-Two and at the end it says 'C'mon announce it already.". Sent to their Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat (yes it doesn't exist) and anything else with DM's/threads.

We all should just give up and try to forget that the game exists and when it gets confirmed all of a sudden, my last hope for them to confirm it for PC is two weeks after their next big RDO update is out.
