RDR2 PC Discussion & Speculation

Grass and shadows eat a lot of frames. I allways put them on medium.

I put MSAA at X2. Looks better than FXAA but impacts performance more. I own a 980. I expect running RDR 2 at a decent frame rate at 1080.

I really doubt we'll be waiting any longer as the evidence points to an announcement very soon. The score is out on Friday, I believe the Score will be the final product release before PC. The marketing is far from over.

Death Stranding

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Shenmue 3

Doom Eternal

 

For me makes more sense December, January, Febraury or March. No big games in those months

No, makes no sense because R* will want to have RDR2 PC out of the way so they can fully concentrate on marketing Bully 2. That of course doesn't mean that there won't be our usual updates to Red Dead Online and GTA Online, but they sure won't waste time holding the PC version of RDR2 back for another couple of months because November is too "packed" with other games. R* doesn't care about that - never did - and they don't need to!

They hold PC the version 10 months already, they can hold 4-7 months more and release the game on december or march. Remember that they hold GTA V PC version 1 years and 7 months.

I think November is to soon. Hope im wrong and you are right.

Friendly reminder: Rockstar Games released only 2 games in the last 6 years. This is way too packed up. 

 

The only thing that might happen in your prediction is the PC announcement. Actual release could be December or March 2020. Not sure where you got that Bully 2 announcement coming this year from and GTA VI by 2023? Lol

Yup I'm with you for December. Fun2 also mentioned holidays. GTA 4 also released at the beginning of December, 3 weeks before Christmas. Would be a perfect time, since sales would sky-rocket that month.

I totally disagree with this list, you can also forget about Bully 2, the next game that Rockstar will release is going to be GTA VI. I'm 99% sure of it, and it will be out in 2021.

RDR2's PC announcement, marketing and releasing will likely have zero impact on anything regarding a potential Bully 2 announcement, they can market/promote two things at the same time and have done it before multiple times.

And they removed the Newswire comments and they stopped being so proactive with the public community, etc. etc. The Newswire was amazing during pre-releases. They used to pin posts all the time talking to people, and they once teased some new V content there by going "Very soon..." and it was posted that same day. Lots of hype.

Team december, hah? As I said earlier, I think the will announce RDR2 PC in august with initial release in november-december, but will delay it to february-march.

@Emmi I think most of us can agree that RDR2 for PC is coming out later this year.

 

Fiscal Year 20 ends in March doesn't it? That means Bully 2 could still be announced between Jan-March. I know how much you want this game.
