Well guys it's confirmed, they mentioned it in the conference.

 

The CFO, Ms. Lainie Goldstein mentioned a Red Dead Redemption 2 Premium Edition within the conference call.

 

I extracted the following sentences from the stream (which is replayable at the conference call page: https://edge.media-server.com/mmc/p/83xc5icr, just login with a bogus name and mail)

 

From 24:50
"We now expect recurrent consumer spending to increase in the mid-teens. Up from our prior outlook of low single digit growth.
Driven primarily by high expectations for Grand Theft Auto Online and NBA2K. Importantly we now expect combined results for Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online to grow in fiscal 2020.

From 25:09
"This growth excludes the value that was allocated to recurrent consumer spending from the Red Dead Redemption 2 Premium Edition"

 

She is specifying it as "excluded", which means that they have to check for the growth which will follow by that new release.

I could be way off base but this sounds like she's saying that their numbers did not include any RDO Gold that was provided for free from pre-orders/promotion/etc.

GTAV has one: "Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Online Edition". Red Dead Redemption 2 has a Special, Ultimate, and Collectors edition but from what I see it does not yet have a "Premium" edition.

I assume this is because RDO wasn't out long enough to receive any worthy online bonuses that you can see in the GTAV one.

Regarding the unannounced title, it may not be related to RDR2 PC.

I found out that Take-Two registered a new domain called wweultracard.com 14 days ago.

It could be a new 2K Games title.

 Did they mention whether or not they only had one unannounced title? I highly doubt that RDR 2 PC isn't coming this fiscal year.

 

 Also I doubt a mobile game would be enough to push the revenue up as high as they projected. Even with other Take Two titles.

And GTAV for PC was April 14 2015, so I think you just messed your dates up (especially not 2013 lol).

This whole speech has got nothing to do with RDR2 PC. 
 

The premium edition will just be a standard console disc bundled with loads of money for RDO. That is all

Around the 53:40 mark of the conference call, expenses for the year are discussed - confirmed that in Q1 (March - May) there was "a little bit of marketing that didn't happen in the quarter that's going to get pushed out for the remainder of the year", with biggest marketing in Q2 and Q3 for biggest releases. 

Aside the new launches of BL3 and Outer Worlds, which one can only assume will eat a good chunk of that marketing budget, what about the delayed Q1 allowance? 

 

Possible that this relates to more marketing for announced titles, that just hasn't happened yet, but as we're into the final month of Q2, do you think that could be any indication of a PC release of RDR2 - that would account for delayed marketing budget? If so, that would also suggest some news soon...

 

Now, this is pure speculation - I could be way off, and it could be marketing to any other titles that are being released!

LEL, R* has been saying very soon for the "RP" update for RDO since May and now they're saying it comes "Later this summmer". Took them 3 months to announce a 'release date" that is still not a release date.

I'm sorry but nothings points to an near announcement.
