That is a pure lie ... it's obvious that they "pressured" R* to show that Fall 2017 release window for RDR2 in the initial RDR2 teaser trailer back in October 2016. Both R* and Take Two knew the game wouldn't be ready for release by then, but they needed to have some lucrative outcome in their otherwise sparse financial report for the upcoming fiscal year.

Not it's not, what do i mean by ready is not completly finished but atleast the map, characters, weapons, animals, visuals and the story needs to be defined even if they're subject to change.

If that were the case RDO would be separate, it isn't. They like this SP + MP model they have right now.

Maybe you are right.

Come on Rockstar, show some respect to your PC fanbase, there's 3-5 millions units to be sold on PC at $60.

I find it odd Rockstar tweeted out on a Sunday for sure.

I hope you optimistic people are correct and that we will get a PC version this year, unfortunately I am more of a pessimist. That way I rarely get disappointed as I always expect the worst of everyone and everything. So my guess is still that we will not get a PC-version until 2020.

It was when RDO got out of beta if i recall correctly, right after the Take-Two earning calls saying that RDO will go out of beta by atleast the end of summer

By the way, I want to remind you that GTA IV PC was announced on August 6th 2008 for November release.

It was delayed to the first week of December 2008 tho which is still great considering it was released on consoles back in April 2008

EDIT: But it was pure horse sh*t and still is on some configs (even the bests of today)

Ouh oh so many replies.. :D

Well to make a general response:

The latest announcement was midnight GMT, so that would be right after the earnings call. Would be a loud bang if they would actually do that.

Also would be plausible since they left out a tweet this afternoon and tweeted yesterday instead.

We'll see. The figures will be interesing nontheless :)

News from todays Take Two investors call.

Grand Theft Auto V sold close to 120 million copies.

Grand Theft Auto Online sees an all-time record player-count thanks to the Casino update.

Red Dead Redemption 2 sold close to 30 million copies.

Red Dead Online underperforming, huge update later this Summer.

I wish we had a Take-Two conference call bingo chart. I'd definitely take a shot every time Strauss Zelnick bobs & weaves his ass out of a direct question about something.

Indeed, however, the text version of the earnings report comes out before the live call.

Maybe Zelnick will "hint" something? I mean who would have thought that Zelnick would say "there is no downside to releasing RDR 2 on PC" during the last call, instead of a standard line such us "Follow Rockstar's newswire for any potential releases"?

Yeah, I admit that was actually uncharacteristically revealing of Zelnick to say. I was totally expecting the same blanket response of "Our partners will make announcements when they have something to share". That's literally all we heard about GTA V PC from Take-Two.

I'm hoping someone posts a breakdown of the call. I'm at work and won't be able to tune in.

Thats all I wanted to see.

The FY2020 estimate is a little bit higher than FY2019 (which was the fiscal year RDR2 got released in).

This means there are releases definitely coming and since the net revenue is being stable compared to former fiscal year, it must be something big.

We all know what it is.

They just re-confirmed it with their financial estimates.
