Can the Oppressor Mk2 be used in heists

Blablabla yeah, I know, mk2 sucks, but no one has mentioned if it can be used in heists. If anyone that has bought an oppressor mk2 can answer this for me, I'd appreciate it.

dune FAV, weponized tampa, insurgent pickup custom, halftrack, barrage, menancer, vigilante is the ones ive seen listed, i own everything by now, nothing more appeared, of course if you count revolter, comet safari, viseris and other peashooter sports cars as weaponized then them too

The rule generally seems to be if it can fly or is amphibious you can’t use it.

It would seem no. For a small consolation prize, it can be used in the Bunker resupply mission that you go into the sewers to fight Cartel members. And the OP Mk II can fly over the barrier at the back of the tunnel and escape through the sewers and Subway tunnel.

Yes that, Vigilante, And also the Ruiner 2000

You can not use the ruiner 2000 in heists unless there is a glitch,

But basically all weaponised vehicles can work in heists unless.

a, they can fly including gliding and hovering,

b, they can swim.

c, they are pegasus vehicles or the weaponised vehicles from the import export. (you can call pegasus in some of the Doomsday heists) but not the normal ones,

 

There was a MOC insurance glitch which allowed you to use some of the vehicles like the Deluxo in some heists, Not sure if that still works, never tried it.

TBH most vehicles with missiles and explosive weapons in general are not a good idea in the majority of heists or setups. You are more likely to screw up the objective and annoy your team members than to actually be useful.

I think you can, and they stop the heist set-up missions from being a complete pain in the ass.

As already pointed out in this thread, the Oppressor Mk.2 cannot be used in heist setups and finales. 

 

Freeroam prep work = anything can be used.

I said it once and I'll say it again, being unable to use weaponized vehicles like the Deluxo or the Oppressor Mk II in Heists is proof of two things:

 

- R* being unable to retroactively balance missions so they can't be cheesed over with certain vehicles or weapons.

- R* aknowledging that certain vehicles are truly overpowered and instead of nerfing them they would rather forbid them entirely from certain modes.
