best way to get into heist, setup, etc missions?

im finally getting into the heist missions and some are pretty awesome. But goodness it seems like I can never find a job and end up getting 4 players and be good to go. pretty much every time it's only me and the host, a 3rd person joins but leave after 20 seconds. I've only been able to get into heist missions 5 times ever. Is there a preferred way to go about getting into these jobs that'll give you the best chance for a full crew ready to go?

Any methods besides playing with an actual crew or friends, for now I'm playing just with strangers. Any advice? Im on ps4 if it matters

Joining heists through 'on call' works best for joining heists,but lots of variables come into play when joining randoms, some may quit for any reason, some will have more experience than others and some will be newbies.

Best advice i have is try to find a crew that does heists, trying to get them done with randoms isnt the way to go.

Dang, so its not just bad luck on my part of searching for heists the wrong way? Ehh I guess its time to get my crew on. Don't get me wrong, i love multiplayer but idk why I never felt attracted to doing the crew thing. But the few heist jobs i've done were super fun, alright time to go find myself some teammates  thanks

After completing all the heists for both of my characters using a group of veterans. I now always join to help others out and pass on my knowledge. Returning the favor. Always remember that the silly little yellow route that Lester gives you may not be the best route to use. Specially on Series A-Weed and Pacific Standard finale motorcycle getaway.

It's best to play Heists with ppl from your friendlist, or your crew if you joined any of them.

 

I don't play any Heists with randoms anymore, it's way to much trouble and mostly just a waste of time.

 

If you don't have any friends or a crew yet, just play some freeroam and try to find ppl you can play Heists with.

 

At some point after you made some friends you will always play with them and with friends of friends of friends of friends etc. you get a rather large group of ppl you can trust after a while, it's just a matter of time.

 

The most important thing are friends you have in common with other friends, this way your "regular" group grows bigger and bigger until there is always a little group online that you know.

 

It's all about meeting the good ppl that introduce you to other good ppl etc.

 

That's how it worked out for me.

Step 1: Wear a heavy utility vest

Step 2: Fill up on armor and snacks

Step 3: Pull up your phone and choose Quick Jobs > DD Heist or Heist. 

That way you'll only join once 2 other players join the host, or if the host launches it for DDH.
