Question about Criminal Mastermind

I've completed Criminal Mastermind, but I have some friends who'd now like to do it. Am I able to do it with them, and help them get it? I understand that I won't get a bonus or anything, I'm just curious as to whether my presence would prevent them getting it. 

 

Similarly, if I'm doing other heists on the side during the playthrough, will that affect their ability to get it (if they do everything by the book)? From their perspective it'll still be every Heist in order, with the same crew, with no deaths.

Yes you can help them and their progress should be fine even if you play other heists.
