Do you wish Louise Survived?

I really liked Louise's character, so i was sad that she had died.

 

do you think she should had survived? or were you happy what the created did with her?

It makes sense that she was killed off since Vic dies two years after the game's events.

Sorry, that was an ambigous statement. I mean, if she did survive, and became Vic's girlfriend, that would raise questions like "what happens to her after Vic dies?" But hey, it's not like R* cares that much about continuity, so I guess her still being alive wouldn't matter.

It's rather depressing when you take on account of the fact that her life was pretty much a failure considering the stuff she told Vic about when describing herself. The fact she was a frequent damsel only makes it even more depressing.

She died because Vic and Lance had to leave Vice City to get away from the crime and Vic can't just leave her in Vice City for two years.

You could always imagine she secretly survived but was severely debilitated by her injuries and went on to become Piggsy in Manhunt as people have suggested about Smoke and JD...

I think it makes since that she dies, although I think that would have been a death more served for the ending, perhaps the Mendez Building.

Her character is a cliche of those dames in distress type characters that don't make it to the end of antihero storylines prevalent in the 80s.

 

She was basically destined to be killed off.

I think her death was earned, but I felt like her and Vic didn't have much time to develop a relationship, and I also felt like Lance's reply, "I'm sorry, bro, but she wasn't right for you", was uncalled for. Lance was such a total tool in the game. Vice City he was tolerable. But here? Somebody shoot him.

Going through the game with Lance staying alive is just painful. 

 

That bloody mission where he rides the motorbike does my head in. Can't wait to fail that one over and over again! 

 

On topic, I'm sad that she died, but she wasn't really in most of the story so not too harsh. At least her sister can look after the baby.

Not really. Not that I dislike her, but because I prefer the drama it added to the ending over having her alive, especially since it became an additional reason to go after the Mendez brothers (who were more believable antagonists than Martinez after all).
