Nightclub - Am I hearing things?

I thought it was just part of Lazlows dialogue but now I'm not sure it isn't a glitch or misassignment. While walking about the club (usually if going from dancefloor up to office) I hear Lazlow say "Humpy" or a similar sounding variation like he's right behind me, which isn't always the case. I usually play with headphones so maybe it's more obvious? Has anyone else noticed this, is it a reference to something (I think one of the PRB characters is called humpy) He never says it when you are near him.

yeah I hear all those other ones, when I'm near him. The one I'm talking about he isn't close to me, and it's always something like Humpy or Pumpy. It sounds like he's saying it right next to me but he's usually out on the balcony or on the dancefloor.

He sometimes says "Hey there buddy!".  Hahaha, Lazlow is great!  Surprisingly, I find him far less annoying than I do Tony!  Tony is an obnoxious dick hole.

Is it when the club popularity is low? If so it may be when hes kn the loading bay/bathroom hallway.

I have never seen him in that hallway. The only locations I see him are with the glowsticks 2nd floor at the railing, VIP seating area, Dancefloor with his horsie, and on the LHS podium replacing one of the dancers. If he is meant to appear there that might make more sense as that's around where I hear it. Still buggy tho

Be sometime says something like 'Bye buddy' if you walk away from him a little after he greeted you. I only heard it when wearing headphones.

Yes, it is Lazlow, and yes, he does randomly say "Humpy" out of the blue. It is not "Homie". He calls the player homie in other dialogue, and the single word exclamation has a clearly distinguishable "p" sound.

Turn your music volume down in settings to better hear all the NPC dialogue inside your club.

 

As for where he appears, it depends on the club popularity as described

When it is high, he will be:

• On the dance floor with his toy unicorn
• On the dancer's podium (if you have hired dancers)
• On the balcony with his glow sticks
• In the VIP Lounge sitting down (unless there is a VIP in there)

When it lowers, he can be found (list incomplete):

• Sitting at the VIP Bar holding his head
• In the toilet cubicle sitting on the throne with his head in his hands
• Lying on the sofa/bed in the office annex
•

Thank you! I thought I was going nuts. It wouldn't be so weird if it didn't sound like he was right next to you, but when you turn around he's on the floor below....kinda creepy.

I'll confirm, I have also heard "Humpy" randomly. Tried to record it but my xbl is full of clips so it wouldn't upload.

Lazlow is saying humpy. He's quoting that pikachu  looking thing from the princess robot bubblegum tv show. I guess he's saying that because he's horny and surrounded by all that tail in the club

Would you mod the Rosemary and Thyme Tavern into the Maisonett Novigard Tavern? Perhaps Tony would then franchise the tavern and open Maisonett Oxenfurt and Maisonett Toussaint taverns too...

I’ve heard Lazlow say many things and while wearing headphones a few days ago, I could’ve sworn I heard someone utter “Humpy” or something like that. The thing is, I heard it maybe two or three times while walking into the office from the second floor.

 

At first, I thought it was security standing by the stairs. When I heard it, I was like “Huh, what did he just say?” Heard it a couple times after while going in the office a few days ago. Haven’t heard anything since then. Never thought about it being Lazlow since he wasn’t near me.

I let it go down for a while, but its more profitable to keep the popularity at Max. After getting Dixon, I started doing a promotion mission every 40-45 minutes (right after the vault tally notification) & I got back the money I spent to book Dixon. I'll do the same with TBM.
