PS4 Pro sadly just doesn't have the juice to run 4k. But, you also have to keep in mind that not only did Xbox One X come out a year after Pro did, it also costs 25% more. It's a steep price to pay for a difference that might barely be noticeable in most games.

The fact that it's took 8 years to make this game makes me want to play it even more. I hope we can go to Armadillo or even Mexico as Arthur. That would be brilliant.

Is anyone else replaying Red Dead Redemption right now? It's my favorite game of all time but this time I'm REALLY taking my time with it and taking it all in slowly. Stopped at a roadside camp earlier and the guy was telling a story about Red Harlow. Pretty cool.

I am dubious of this information.  We know the leaked map is accurate (or mostly so), and we know the approximate scale of that map.  Even if they incorporated all of RDR's map on top of it (which we have no indications they will do from either the map or the trailers so far), it would be smaller than GTA V.  Quite a bit smaller in fact, maybe half as big.

 

They would have to have expanded that original look pretty substantially for it to be bigger than GTA V's map.  It's possible but it doesn't seem too likely to me.

The desert area in the gameplay video is 100% not on the leaked map. 

 

Not saying it is on a remastered RDR1 map, but it is not on the leaked map. That we know.

 

It is also not the first newsoutlet who claims that this is the largest map ever made by Rockstargames. 

 

Also it is a legit source and it wouldn't make sense to hype the fans, which will later backfire. Providing fake information will make people question their legitness later.

 

We have also a leak (which was right on multiple things and provided us 2 new screenshots), who mentions Armadillo and Ridgewood (both in the old RDR map). 

 

That is the info we have right now

I preordered the physical Ultimate Edition. I figured since i am going to play this game for a few years and it's a definitive GOTY i might as well pay a little more money to get the extra goodies. The exclusive world map and steelbook is also nice

@ivarblaauw is on about the TrustedReviews leak from back in February that had two before unseen screenshots that Rockstar still haven't released (leaked on right of each image compared to previously released screens)

The leak provided information that many users dismissed at the time but several things have now since been confirmed from previews/trailers (fishing, upgradeable tents in online). The leak mentions that we will be able to go to Armadillo & Ridgewood in New Austin, areas that aren't on the leaked map. I'm still not sure what to make of the leaked information but there's no denying that the screens are legit.

So there´s a huge difference here.... i lost my opportunity to buy it from R* warehouse.

To be honest, I completely forgot about that leak because it was earlier this year but now reading that again , most of the features they claim are in the game have already been confirmed by rockstar games. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE
