So, i've purchased a club and fully upgraded it. You can buy extra storage under the club so you can run your current busnisses from the club. You buy a ton of equipment and staff upgrades and they will accrue stuff for you over time.  So i purchased all the extra staff and went to assign one to my cocaine business. It told me to use the feature i needed to go and re-open my cocaine factory. So i went over and re-opened it and started cocaine production again. Gay Tony tells you you don't need to do anything once its all set up.  I thought, great, no more donkey work, no more running cocaine supplies etc. But here's the thing. That isn't strictly true. Even though i joined the busnisses up you still have to fetch cocaine supplies or buy them. And your cocaine factory stocks still rise and need to be sold as normal. The only difference is some guy you hired at the club will source extra cocaine at the club over time. But in over 3 hours he hasn't sourced me 1 single bit of product yet (1 product = $5k) I paid like $300k for this guy and so far he seems a bit work shy. I joined 3 busnisses up to the club, CEO Crates, Gun Running and the Cocaine factory. The guy's i hired to accrue CEO Crates and Gun Running supplies have gathered me 3 items so far in over 3 hours. The cost to sell is just $15k.  So far i've paid out more money to my staff than i have made any actual money!!! Your biker business is like $9,500 a day. Gun Running another $9,000, CEO whatever that is? Then your pay your new nightclub staff however much that is? (I forgot). And your nightclub will generate $10k per day depedning on how popular your club is. You need to do missions in a public lobby to keep the clubs popularity up. Like fly blimps and drop flyers, pickup celebrities and stuff.

So, even though you can join your busnisses up to the nightclub you still have to do supply runs or buy supplies and sell them as normal. Which means if you have a cocaine lab LJT will still annoy the tits off of you buy phoning you every 5 minutes. All the nightclub really does is makes you a tiny bit more cash, but only if you keep your busnisses open and keep getting supplies. The only business that doesn't require you to do supply missions is CEO crates. So i'm going to shut my cocaine factory down again and just keep CEO Crates and Gun Running joined with the nightclub.

So so far not much money to be made here. In 3 hours fully upgraded my staff have accrued $15k of supplies and my club has generated about $40k. Deduct staff costs and there isn't much left over.

As for how much i've spent so far. I purchased the second highest club for like $1.4 million. Fully upgraded the interior. Purchased all the extra equipment and staff. Purchased 2 of the new weaponised vehicles and fully upgraded them with armour and missiles and such. I've spent around $12 million.

Apart from that it's alright. The club is good fun. I've had several people come into my club for a dance and a look about. The cutscenes are brilliant and funny. The missions are the usual stuff. So far no attackers. But once the novelty of the new DLC wears off good luck trying to maintain the popularity of your club. Flying a massive slow blimp around and having to remain stationary at 3 locations low to the ground for a period of time to play promotional music is going to be a griefers paradise. You do get unlimited flares on the blimp but your still going to get blown up.

Hows everyone else liking it so far?

This is the only thing I don't know how to do so far.

My Nightclub Technicians seem to get Nightclub stock, they don't seem to "get supplies / stock" for the other things I've got going on.

Also, I'm sure it was supposed to be B1 - B5 for garage space (and again B1 - B5 for cargo storage) but it seems like garage level B5 isn't available. :/

The nightclub technicians only get extra supplies for the nightclub. They wont add supplies to your other busnisses at all. Your other busnisses run how they did before the update.

Ahh thanks I wondered why there was confusion.

This image below suggests that we're being dripfed the proper consolidation whereby everything can be managed from one place.

Hmmm, that looks interesting. I wonderd why adding Import Export wasn't an option. Maybe they are going to add it in at a later date by the looks of that image. So far my nightclub staff have got me some sports gear and weapons.  They are also going to be drip feeding an Oppresser Mark 2 which has no wheels, it just hovers. And also a new plane that i really want, a Warthog plane. That thing looks super beast!

So you decided to have a tantrum and assume things instead of simply asking? Okay.

You Nightclub does not fill your other Businesses, it simply uses the already established networks to stockpile its own inventory of illicit stock. If you wanted to never touch the Bunker and Biker Businesses again you could and your NC will still make money. If you want to put in the work you could make double the money, half hands on and half hands off through the Nightclub.

The more businesses you own the more money you can make by hiring more Technicians to source more stock from different businesses.

To be fair, they're also dripfeeding the DJs themselves since only one is available and the others are all coming within the next month, so something like this really shouldn't be unexpected out of Rockstar.

Apparantley people on social media are upset they didn't release more content and are drip feeding again. As soon as i see the Oppresser Mark 2 and the Warthog plane on Youtube i went straight to buy them but they aren't in the game yet.  Major bummer! Bloody hate drip feed content.

Because it has been demanded for a long time and R* only begrudgingly made it possible because of how loud the demand was. I can safely assume that the Terabyte and thus this ability will be the last thing released, conveniently around the time RDR arrives and R* moves on.

Until then they want us to grind like good little rats.

I never said or thought it would fill up my other busniesses. Read properly. And this isn't a tantrum either lol.

Yes you did or you implied it and yes it is.

Why is this not in the After Hours forum or the Bitch and Moan or one of the other topics?

No, i didn't. At first i thought you would buy the nightclub staff and they would just bring stuff in. The more you upgrade the more they would bring into the club. I didn't realise i had to have my other busnisses open for them to even work. Then once i opened my other busnisses like my cocaine factory, i wasn't quite sure how it would work. Then i played for a few hours and it all became clear. The nightclub staff will get supplies for the club providing you have your other busnisses open and use them as normal. So now when i close my cocaine factory down again my nightclub staff won't be sourcing anymore cocaine supplies for my club.

This is more of a heads up than a moan. No need to have a tantrum about where and what i'm posting. lol

Fair enough.

Yea, thats how it works. Its a weird set up and not at all what they explained it as. I too thought it would be moving your stuff from your Business, storing it in your Nightclub and then passively selling it.

Popularity missions can be done in Invite Only or solo sessions. No need to be in Pubic sessions to manage the club. The club was a bit nasty on me in the first hour. Every time I entered the club, after I got my DJ, I got the "star entrance" cutscene again and no way to cancel it. So, I went through that ordeal like 4 times and then it finally stopped.

It is fun to have, but I don't think I'll be very active doing stuff there. I bought the one at Vespucci, near my office. It's a good thing that all your businesses can be run from 1 pc now and you don't need to travel to all your businesses anymore. Then again, I haven't done anything with my businesses for a long time now. And I think I bought the nightclub, which you can't rename yourself......., for completionist's reasons.

It's a crowded place at daytime, for a nightclub.....

Slowly collecting stock in my nightclub and with some basic math I can tell it maxes out at about $2,000,000 or so. Not too bad. I think that gets an additional lobby bonus as well. Shame it takes forever and a day to fill it up. Also, noticed the Promotion missions work about the same as the Biker/Bunker resupplies. You make no product while doing a promotion mission.

And here people were predicting "passive income" and consolidation of the businesses in a way that made sense, instead of R* re-using the same mechanics and making them even more needlessly complicated.

It's additional passive income for me, I've been afk'n full bunker sales since Gunrunning's launch.

Investing into the club to utilize the "free stock" buildup there, to sell in addition to my bunker stock works just fine.

Sure it will take awhile to make up for, however for someone like me that doesn't spend time grinding anymore, it offers an effortless secondary money maker.

It's essentially another bunker business but without having to restock on supplies, trade-off being less money made per sale & longer buildup time.

Only a $70K cap on the wall safe "free money", that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

The real valuable content is coming through dripfeed sadly.

I haven't given up hope on my DLC experience yet;

Evidently R* is pushing dripfeeding to a new level, which is annoying, but makes sense for what we have been assuming quite a while: That in GTA:O's late stage as a product, mayor DLC will become much rarer, to be replaced by filler DLC trying to keep both lingerers and late adoptors happy (and willing to buy the occasional shark card), and make the game still looking fresh for newcomers, without actually investing too much developer energy.

I say it: The nightclub itself is a remarkably well thought-out scenery, one of the best locations ever imo, it is full of potential for some snap-on functionality, which just now looks painfully little used; I can imagine some kind of filler-fashion update hitting conveniently this autumn, also bringing additional business functionality. They have even introduced a new layer of soloable missions that can be, in future DLC, expanded easily.

Even with R*s tradition of wasting potential: The nightclub, and also this coming Terbyte MOC thing look far too complex to just be 5 GB graphics for trolling customers. There is way more to come, I believe, they just stretch it very aggressively over their business year.

No fangirl, just wearing my rosy colored glasses.

It is passive income and you can consolidate all your businesses.

The Club makes money no matter what you are doing, all you need to do is buy the businesses and hook them upto your Nightclub. You never have to do anything else with the Businesses if you dont want to.

Now I gotta ask a stupid question because I didn't really quite get it.

Do you have to have stock/supplies in your normal business for the technicians to source Nightclub supplies or is it sufficient when those businesses are open?

What i find silly is that my club sells bottles of drink for $150k, yet my club can only make $70k per week. lol

You still have to go to your other busnisses and do supply runs and sales missions. All the club does is add some extra stock to sell via the club itself. Your cocaine, weed, forgery, money laundering bussnises still require you to do supply runs and sales missions. Those bussnises work just like they did before the update. So you still need to grind or buy supplies.

That's exactly what i'm doing now. Just keeping Gun Running open.  One nice thing about the Nightclub is the sales missions. You get given a crappy old van but can customize it with heavy armour, powerful mini gun and mines and it lets you use it on the sales missions. Its pretty quicl to when fully upgraded.  I've only sold small ammounts so far so don't know if we get given the new bigger armoured veihcles on bigger sales missions? I bought the the new medium and large ones and fully upgraded them with armour and missiles just incase. They were both stored in my nightclub so i'm guessing that's what they are for, for selling bigger stock.

But if you leave other bussnises open and do nothing with them you keep getting those annoying phonecalls telling you you have run out of supplies! Just LJT on his own is enough to make you through yourself off of a cliff. The fans moaned in the masses when Roman kept calling you in GTA4. So what did they do with GTAV? Make loads of people keep calling you. And when they call you the controls go all funny and cannot be used properly. LJT kept making me retract the wings on my oppresser everytime i had to deal with his calls so i kept crashing. You can't do anything until the call goes away. So annoying.

I'm not 100% sure if you HAVE to have supplies. But the biker bussnisses work just as they did before the update. The only problem with not keeping the supply levels up is you keep getting annoying phonecalls to tell you you've run out of supplies.
