B-11 Strikeforce is probably the worst purchase in the game.

I just purchased the B - 11 Strikeforce and i have to say i think it's the worst purchase in the game. No joke. I'm an experienced pilot who can dodge any rocket, even Deluxo and Chernobog rockets etc. But this new B -11 Strikforce struggles to even dodge another player firing homing rockets on foot. And not only that just 1 single RPG wrecked the plane and made it unflyable, even with maxed out armour. This thing isn't even as strong as other planes like the Rogue yet the Rogue is just pretty much a standard non militarized plane. The Rogue can take an RPG and keep flying fine. Just found out it only has 30 homing rockets aswell.Yup, the rockets run out....

 

It's really stupid because i know this plane isn't a dog fighting plane its for destroying ground targets. But the front brrrttt cannon is stupidly weak. It's about as powerful as a de-clawed kitten. So not only is it weak in the air, i wouldn't say useless at dog fighting, experienced flyers will be able to do something with it if they get creative, but chances are your going to get totally spanked by pretty much most other planes. I just got into a dogfight with a hydra and even though the hydra ran circles around me with its much more short agile turning circle, the pilot was clearly unexperienced and i managed to catch him. But then he fired a couple of RPG's on foot and the Strikeforce was simply too slow. You can dodge RPG's if you just fly around in a circle one way. However i'm pretty certain Deluxo and other rockets will get you if on foot RPG's get close. So this plane isn't that great for air combat nor ground combat. The front cannon is laughably weak and bombs are still weak with a very small blast radius, struggles to dodge rockets and only takes 1 RPG before it spins out of control.

 

This is a badass military plane yet Rockstar have made it look like a total sissy.

 

15 - 0 Undefeated in my Rogue against the B-11 Kitten Force.

I didn't expect class leading agility but i did expect it to be much more of a danger to ground targets. Its neither good for air combat or ground combat which renders it pretty useless i think. Like it has no real role.  I tried to destroy an stationary MOC with the front cannons and after 25+ swoops in i gave up on it it didn't destroy the moc. I think the MOC thought it tickled more than anything.

At the end of the day it's just another pointless vehicle to splurge on yet never use again. I'll buy it and, like most planes, probably never even take it out after upgrading it.

Barrage would've worked fine.

The Hydra and Lazer cannons make short work of MOC's and Avenger's. They would even deal with it much quicker than even barrage missiles.  This Strike Force is supposed to be a proper menace and feared. But in GTA you can just stand there and laugh at it as the front cannons fail to kill you even when just standing on foot.

 

Costs over $4 mill and sells for about $1.6. That's with all upgrades.

The IRL warthog doesn't have explosive rounds (in a chemical sense) and neither should the Lazer or Hydra tbh.

The gun never bothered me but hearing that the rudders cant take a single rocket before they fall off making the vehicle useless makes me pause.

Looks like the Oppressor MkII and the Terrorbyte are still the only stuff I want.

I tested and one explosive round can knock all the steering out of it, if you place it well. In general it's quite resilient to explosive rounds though I think, other than that. Nothing like an Avenger, but decent.

Well, here were are. So far in my Rogue i'm 15 - 0 undefeated against the B-11 Kitten Force or the A10 Kitten Hog, whatever you want to call it. It seems it can take quite a bit of explosive cannon fire before it pops like a burst sausage, but not much more than the Rogue i'd say. Just 1 rocket makes it flip out.  You should have seen the amount of hate i got for posting a comment on YouTube last week saying that the B-11 Strikeforce was going to be poor. If i had £1 for every person that jumped on me calling me a "stupid dumb f*cking idiot who doesn't know the game" i'd be rich. There is a plus side to this though. All these people who thought the B-11 Kitten Hog was going to be the ultimate griefer tool are taking to the game all excited only to get super upset when i shoot them down in a propeller plane. Just had a bunch of them send me salty texts. lol

 

Bare in mind this is me running on 2 hours sleep as it was too bloody hot to sleep last night.

Yup, worse. Because those others you mention didn't have such hype like this thing. When something gets so hyped up and then turns out be to a massive steaming bag of plop, it just makes it worse. Add that to the fact this thing has a reputation of being a beast and it turns out to be a de-clawed kitten. It all adds up to being more of a dissapointment.  Just killed one guy in it and he text me saying how he was so dissappointed in it its spoilt the game for him and he's quitting the game because of it. Another i killed was gutted he spent over $4 million on it only to be blitzed by the Rogue.

I'll never forget the sound of the A-10s 30mm gatling gun, as we would drive into the bombing range there would be 2 A-10s doing target strafing runs one on either side - so freakin' cool. The A-10 has no use in the city. Its simply not made for the GTA environs anyway. Of course I'm going to buy it but I would not be so dumb as to use it in a public lobby with other more superior vehicles flying around. Its made for obliterating nomadic tribesman in Afghanistan or Iraqi convoys in the desert not for pinpoint precision not going against harriers and cobras. Its a tank with wings.

actually, it does.

 

about every 4-5th round(if i remember right) is explosive, where as the rest are depleted uranium. Idea is the DU will tear holes in armor and the explosive shots will pass though and explode inside. Of all the weapons in the game, the hydra/lazers gun is what the a-10 (b-11's) should have been.

The yacht is pretty useful. You can make an easy $30k a time on it. And if you have a poor friend you can make them $60k on it in 10 mins. They win $30k and you win $30k and then gift them your $30k so they have $60. You can also hide from jet griefers and such on it with the anit aircraft missile system. And it can't be destroyed.

And act 2 reset nets you a mil in 13-15 min yeah the yacht is useless.

All true, but compared to the price.... You’d have to do a lot of Piracy Preventions to cover that.

honestly other than tis main gun(Which can't even kill a person on foot lol, it will rag doll someone at100% health and need I think 3 direct hits to kill, and since it fires so slow AND ragdolls the person, its highly unlikely that u would manage to kill someone on a single strafe run)

 

It needs a 4-5x faster fire rate, then the plane would be golden. And while it won't happen, both the hydra and lazer need a nerf to their main gun so that the b11 can shine at what its MEANT to shine at: air to ground attacks.

 

A good 'fix' would to give it an extreme quick rate of fire, at 3-4x the damage the lazer/hydra does, but give it a 10-20 second cooldown per 5 second 'burst'

Do you have a good source that explains the process? Ive tried to find it multiple times and can't seem to get to the nut of it.
