They show all white cars with red and blue details. I've beaten the game (not 100%, though) and I have never encountered any fully white police cars. Whats up with that?! AZAZEL Posted April 2, 2003 Share Posted April 2, 2003 Yeah, it was the same thing with GTA3. Before the release, the police cars were Blue and white. Also in the intro movie in VC, where Ken Rosenberg pick you up at the airport, the wheels of the Admiral he is driving is not the same as in the final version. Vido Corleone Posted April 5, 2003 Share Posted April 5, 2003 Here is the scoop. In an Interveiw with DMA's head programmer, it was said that the GTA3 Police cars were changed out of respect for 911. As for the Vice City cars, well Miami Police cars are green and white. So if anything its just more realistic. I know it's the 80's but still. Oh,a nd anyone else notice that in both GTA3 and VC, the police cruisers and regualr taxis are the same car model? Heh... Not really, the police cars from GTA3 were smoother and seemed more durable, the ones from VC are weak and I find just look poopy... but that's just me! I've been working on a project not long time ago, where I tried to convert Liverty City, into New York City. Just some small things like changing carnnames, installing new cars (+ the one you showed a pic of), changing area names, and so forth...
