Hey everyone, I'm curious to see stats on where players have been establishing their nightclubs and how the community has decided to occupy them.

 

This is a polling thread, but After Hours discussion is cool!

@McGhee nah, I disagree. There weren't any other threads which provided a holistic view of where and how the community is occupying their nightclubs.

 

Even this thread's polls can't cover everything—for the forums won't allow me to poll for anything past 3 items, so it doesn't include: lighting selection, cover charges, clothing requirements, number of garages, nor number of warehouse space below

Big fan of the location in Strawberry - Close enough to travel links but far enough away from other owned properties so I have more safe areas dotted around the map if I need to hide for a bit.

 

I've still got the basic interior on mine with no extras but once I hit a million in profit I may do a refurb of the club. Kinda like having things to work toward

Strawberry, for a few reasons: the exterior proportions/layout don't bug me in relation to the huge interior (), the street-side entrance/queue is a nice authentic touch, the location makes sense (with the warehouse door being near other similar buildings, while the entrance puts it near to other entertainment spots), and it's just nice to own another spruced-up old warehouse right around from my dude Benny.

 

Paradise was nearest to the things I was toying with when the update was first teased ("Parklife" and "Purgatory") - makes for some nice puns in mission dialogue, and it's fortuitous that it's one of the ones with nice lettering and a purple background to match the club interior!

 

As for the interior, the paint/leather furnishings look suits me best - I like the colours, and it's the only one that looks like the sort of clubs I actually frequent in real life. Meanwhile, the other options are 'nobody shine a blacklight in here' and 'Austin Powers would probably tell you to tone it down a little', so there really wasn't a choice for me.

Chose Del Perro because I like the building and everything I own is in Del Perro.

 

Took the name Galaxy because it just sounded the least lame and the sign fits my interior pretty well. Which I chose the blue brick interior. I just really like it and knew before the update came out that I wanted my nightclub to be blue inside. Looks much more chill than the purple interior, which reminds me more of a strip club then a nightclub. I also simply can’t stand the colour purple nor all the glitter.

 

For dj, I will probably stick with Tale of Us but we will see.

I went with Downtown Vinewood & named it The Palace.

 

The second decoration style & the 3rd light rig option.

 

All technicians, equipment upgrade & a single storage expansion.

 

I skipped the dry ice, dancers, bartender upgrade, security upgrade & the garage expansions.

1. Del Perro, because I like this type of Palazzo building (That old factory in Cypress Flats was a close second, though); I was aware of the "warzone problem", but I'm spending my freemode time 99,9% in closed lobbies anyway

 

2. Settled for "The Palace", naturally, considering the nature of the building, and further design decisions...

 

3. … I picked the this purple/gold luxury interior (this table alone would have sold it!), the Cathedral light rig, and two female dancers in neon; all upgrades; no dry ice yet, though. One storage expansion, all available garage decks. 

 

Yeah, shopping kind of got out of control there; it happened because originally I had earmarked a bigger sum for club set up and some initial must-haves in fashion items and cars, anyway, but - alas! - there were no fashion items, so I went on retail therapy

 

I'm happily running the recently released DJ Dixon, who is my favorite by now and has set the bar very high for TBM next week

Gotta agree there, dixon's playlist is sounds great, i'm not a fan of techno music but his setlist is great imo

 

P.S most of his track can be played on guitar with a band that's why i like his music, it's got potential

There also 2 warehouses, gives you feel of own little town. 

Make you feel like you on your own island.

2 landing strips. Tricky to land something big, others are just smooth fitting.

Cool exit through two bridges.

Additional covered by those bridges rail roads to access, which could be used to trick pursuers. 

Industrial abandoned area, what else underground club needs.

 

One downside, you can't call MOC there, no idea why. B-11 you can, but MOC you can't.

I established my nightclub on West Vinewood. Even thought it was a bit of a hasty decision, I did so because the most expensive location is usually the better one - the more glaring exception being the facility by the dam. Forgetting the hard turn on a slope that it obliges you to do to get into the garage, this seems to indeed be the best location for quick entry/exit into the city from the north side.

 

Interior is the "Brick & Leather" (2nd) one. This was the obvious choice for me and I love how sharp it looks. Plus, it is essential to keep the general techno/dark style I have going on for my club. I like how crazy the third style gets but I prefer the more subtle and somewhat serious nuances on this interior.

 

It was a hard choice but I went with Dazzle for a lighting rig. I'm not sure if I'll keep this one forever or if I'll change between Cathedral and/or Surge. I like how Dazzle lets the moving lights work on their own while the lazers move around and the nice black roof and office windows stay unobstructed.

 

I chose Galaxy as a name because of my own naming convection for properties sticking to a general theme. Unfortunately, I only noticed how that is the most common choice after making this decision. Depending on something else I'll elaborate later, I may (or not) change the name to Gefängnis.

 

Lastly, I have two female transgressive dancers to add to the "dark" theme I have going on for my club, dry ice installed and dress code set to "techno". I have Dixon playing at the moment and will swap for TBM once she arrives in Los Santos. However, ToU are the strongest contenders to stay as the main DJs - I like their atmospheric and general mellow-er set the most along with their purple motif (Solomun is a strong second).

 

However, part of me wants to leave West Vinewood for Cypress Flats. That building is beautiful and I love its brick work, add to that the window work, the perfect garage access, the interior seems to make sense with the exterior and then there's the badass "THORNS" sign on the outside (contrasting with the awful "SMELL THE PART" outside of mine which is just now starting to annoy). It goes perfectly with my idea of my perfect nightclub. What's stopping me is that I kinda like the West Vinewood building and have gotten used to it, the large distance gained for sales and Business Battles and the fear of bugging out and losing my trophies and outside posters for some stupid reason.

 

All in all, I love nightclubs and they tie nicely with the clubhouses as my favourite properties.
